Frank Reddick Chosen As City Council Chairman
On Thursday, members of the Tampa City Council elected a new Chairman for the up- coming year. Veteran Coun- cilman Frank Reddick was chosen to lead the board.

said, “I am honored that my colleagues on Tampa City Council saw fit to elect me as Chairman for 2018 – 2019, during my final term on the Council. I look forward to working with a unified body of colleagues to improve the qual- ity of life in the City of Tampa for the foreseeable future.”
This marks the second time Councilman Reddick will lead the Council for the next calendar year.
In his role as the Chairman, if there is less than 15 months in the term and Mayor Bob Buckhorn resigns, the City Council Chairman will fill the vacancy. Mayor Buckhorn’s term ends in March 2019.
