‘Dear White People’ Exec Producer Inks Deal With Lionsgate
Nicole Ari Parker Becomes Cast Regular On ‘Empire
Yvette Lee Bowser is the executive producer and show runner for ‘Dear White People.’
Nicole Ari Parker has been promoted to series regu- lar for Empire Season 5.
This comes after the exit of original cast member, Grace Byers, who was written out of the show last season.
Parker began recurring in Season 4 as previously re- curred as Giselle Barker, the ex-wife of Forest Whitaker's Eddie Parker.

‘Atlanta’ Renewed For 3rd Season
FX is bringing the Emmy- winning Atlanta back for third season.
Whether it gets a retitling like Season 2 did as Atlanta Robbin’ Season, the third sea- son of the series created by and starring Donald Glover is aiming to be back on the air in 2019.

T. I. In Talks To Join Eddie Murphy In ‘Dolemite’ Remake
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hip-hop artist turned actor T. I. (aka Clif- ford Harris), who next ap- pears in MARVEL'S ANT-MAN and the Wasp, is in talks to join Eddie Murphy in Dolemite Is My Name!, Net- flix's biopic of envelope-push- ing comedian and film producer Rudy Ray Moore.
The film revolves around the life of Rudy Ray Moore, best known for financing and star- ring in Dolemite, which ap- peared in 1975 and has been described as "one of the great blaxploitation movies" of the 1970s.
Eddie Murphy will star in ‘Dolemite Is My Name!’ T. I., Wesley Snipes, Mike Epps and Tituss Burgess also co-star in the Rudy Ray Moore biopic.
