Allstate Pitchman Dennis Haysbert Selling Malibu Estate For $10M
DENNIS HAYBERT
The actor and well-known Allstate Insurance pitchman Dennis Haysbert is selling his sweet Malibu, Calif., estate for $10 million.
The gated, oceanview prop- erty sits on just over an acre near Zuma Beach in the tiny town. The three-bedroom home was originally built in 1960 and has since been com- pletely remodeled.
Inside, the home offers a modern, comfortable feel with
white-beamed ceilings, wood floors and large windows. The design elements invite the glo- rious California sun inside and provide an upscale-casual so- phistication perfect for beach living. For additional privacy and protection, the place is wired inside and out with se- curity cameras.
Outside you’ll find a pool house, saltwater pool, spa, putting green and parking for over eight cars.
Pedro Bell, the artist re- sponsible for several Funkadelic and George Clinton album covers, has passed away. The chief archi- tect of funk wrote a Facebook post dedicated to the 69-year- old creative confirming the news.
“One of the great aspects of Pedro’s artistry is the fact that many of his illustrations come from actual pictures,” he wrote. “Mainly promo shots. Art imitates Funk! Now that’s Zeep! Rest well, Sir Lleb.”
