KENDRA AND MIKE FUQUA
The most wonderful thing I decided to do was share my life and heart with you.
  HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY, MY SON
 ANDRE L. BROWN 9/2/1977 —- 9/17/2016
On this day, birthday memories increase tremendously, my son, you are truly missed by family and friends. We think of you often and then I realize we’re eternally blessed to have had the time to make those memories along with family and friends.
Yes, we will have those keepsakes forever. Your mother may remember a small occasion you and her shared that brings a smile to her face. Those memories are precious. So my son, every year on your day, I’ll remember our talks and your laugh and miss you. Happy heavenly birthday, my son.

After being briefed by Hills- borough County Emergency Management, Hillsborough County Public Schools has made the decision to close school on Tuesday, September 3, due to Hurricane Dorian.
The storm continues to strengthen and move in an un- predictable path. The district made this decision Friday to allow families and employees time to plan.
This decision is based on a number of factors:
- the likelihood of our schools being called upon to serve as shelters, both for peo- ple from our area and other Floridians coming from the east coast
- the potential for dangerous weather conditions and heavy rain in our area Tuesday
- the likelihood of high winds Tuesday, which would
prevent our school buses from operating and impact students traveling to and from school
All sports and afterschool activities will be held as sched- uled on Saturday. The status of sports and activities for Sunday and beyond depends on whether schools are needed as shelters and which days school is canceled.
We will continue to work with emergency officials and will provide updates for school on Wednesday as the path of the storm becomes clearer. You can find updates at hillsbor- oughschools.org/dorian and on our district’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
