This week’s Spotlight feature is Gabrielle. It’s been a long time since a feature with natural beauty has been spotlighted, and what better choice than this young woman. Gabrielle is very comfortable in front of the camera, and has a burning desire to be successful. She knows you will have to have that certain something dif- ferent to catch the attention of the powers that be. Just understand that Gabrielle will not quit until she’s where she wants to be. Congratulations to Gabrielle as this week’s Spotlight feature.

In the end, the winners were declared in each of the three races. Orlando Gudes defeated Jeffrey Rhodes in the District 5 Race by a slim
margin of 157 votes.
Joseph Citro defeated
Walter L. Smith, II. Citro
received 57.35% or 26,906 votes to Smith’s 42.65% or 20,007 votes. Citro will rep- resent the at-large Council District 1. This is his first time serving on City Council.
In the race for District 3, John Dingfelder won 64.03% or 31,076 votes to de- feat Stephen Lytle, who won 35.97% or 17,458 votes. Dingfelder has served on the City Council in the past. District 3 is an at-large seat.
Gudes captured 50.82% or 4,885 votes to Rhodes’ 49.18 or 4,728 votes.
Election officials said there will not be a recount in the race. Gudes will repre- sent the District 5 con- stituents on the City Council.
A retired Tampa Police of- ficer, this is the first time Gudes has been elected to serve on the City Council.
The new City Council members will be adminis- tered the Oath Of Office in a ceremony at Armature Works at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, May 1st.
