Man Who
Teenager Arrested For Breaking Into Vehicles
    Threatened Woman
With Gun Gets
Police have arrested a teenager and charged him with committing several ve- hicle burglaries. The burgla- ries took place in Westchase area.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, several victims reported they were missing valuable items, cash, and in one case, a firearm from their vehicles. A total of seven vehicle burgla- ries occurred during the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 24th, and Thursday, June 25th.

Police Search For Arsonist Who Broke Into Car, Set It Afire

Law enforcement is cur- rently searching for a man who burglarized and set fire to a car dealership in Tampa. The offense took place shortly before 6 a.m., on June 25th.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, an unidentified man entered the King of Carz dealership, 7010 East Fowler Avenue. Surveillance video captured him lighting and throwing Molotov cocktail-style bottles inside the business and pour- ing accelerant on the floor be- fore running away as flames engulfed the building.

Detectives collected evi- dence at the scenes which led them to 19-year-old Jaden Butler after collecting fin- gerprint and DNA samples from the cars.
Detectives also learned Butler made purchases with the stolen credit cards at the Mobile gas station, 8212 Sheldon Road in Tampa. Surveillance video captured Butler at the business.
He was taken into cus- tody at his home on June 25th. A court authorized search warrant was con- ducted and deputies recov- ered several stolen items.
16 Years, 8 Months
 A 43-year-old man has been sentenced to 16 years, and 8 months in federal prison. He was found guilty of the charges filed against him during a bench trial on December 2, 2019.
Marquese Jerrodda Allen, of St. Petersburg, was sentenced under the Armed Career Criminal Act. Allen has 10 previous felony con- victions.
According to testimony and evidence presented at the sentencing hearing, Allen pulled a gun on a woman inside his motel room. He had his finger on the trigger, pointed the gun’s barrel at her chest, and threatened to murder her

over a $100 debt that her fi- ancé had owed.
The woman’s nine-year- old son was just outside the room when the incident oc- curred.

  Man Gets More Than 10 Years For Drug Trafficking

  U. S. District Judge Charlene Edwards Hon- eywell sentenced Antonie Latimore, 36, Winter Haven, to 10 years and 10 months in federal prison for conspiring to distribute co- caine base. Latimore had pleaded guilty on March 6, 2020.
According to court docu- ments, the FBI received infor- mation that Latimore and others were distributing nar-
cotics in Polk County. Be- tween March 2 and July 20, 2019, Latimore sold crack cocaine to a confidential source multiple times. Lati- more also negotiated to sell methamphetamine to the confidential source.
On August 10, 2019, the Florida Highway Patrol ar- rested Latimore for driving with a suspended license and found crack cocaine and other drugs in his car.
   Man Gets 30 Months For Selling Opioids
A 48-year-old man has been sentenced to serve 30 months in federal prison.
He pleaded guilty to the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance on Feb- ruary 11, 2020.
According to court docu- ments, Jeffrey Saylor, of St. Petersburg, acquired oxy- codone prescriptions at a local pain management clinic, filled the prescriptions at a pharmacy, and then sold the oxycodone tablets to an
