Final Four Set For This Saturday
Leonard Hamilton Nearly Walks Out 0f Interview After Being Questioned
The 2018 NCAA Tourna- ment’s Final Four field is set. The programs that sur- vived and advanced are Loy- ola-Chicago out of the South, Michigan from the West, Villanova in the East and Kansas through the Midwest.
The results of the Elite Eight set up a pair of highly intriguing semifinal
matchups, with two No. 1 seeds—Villanova and Kansas—going head-to- head, plus a red-hot No. 3 seed in Michigan that hasn’t lost since early February taking on the most improb- able of opponents in No. 11 Loyola-Chicago, the best Cinderella story March Madness has seen in quite some time.
Frank Gore Signs 1-Year Deal With Dolphins
Leonard Hamilton
nearly walked out of an in- terview with CBS’ Dana Jacobson after reacting poorly to a question about his strategy at the end of the game.
Hamilton’s Florida State Seminoles lost to Michigan 58-54 in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tourna- ment on Saturday night. They missed a 3-pointer and Michigan got the re- bound with 11 seconds left. Instead of fouling to extend the game and see what kind of magic could happen, the
Stephen Curry Will Be Re-Evaluated In Three Weeks After MCL Injury
STEPHEN CURRY
The Golden State War- riors got fairly good news on the status of Stephen Curry on Saturday.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Curry has a Grade 2 MCL sprain, and will be re-evalu- ated in three weeks. If that checks out okay, there is a chance he could return around the start of the play- offs.
All in all, this is decent news for Golden State. The injury doesn’t sound partic- ularly serious despite Fri- day’s major scare, and if he’s not ready for the start of the postseason, it sounds like he should be back pretty soon after they start.

Seminoles just let Michigan dribble out the clock for the win. They were harshly crit- icized for the decision.
After the game, that was Jacobson’s first question
to Hamilton, who bristled in response and nearly walked out of the interview.
You think that the game came down to the final sec- onds of the game?” Hamil- ton asked, rhetorically.
“The game was over,” Hamilton said.
Hamilton finally com- posed himself and finished out the rest of the interview, but it’s obvious he rejected the line of questioning. Per- haps he was taken aback and felt ambushed, not re- alizing that critics jumped on him over the strategy.
Celtics Expect Kyrie
If the 2018 season is Frank Gore’s last in the NFL, the veteran running back will be finishing his football career where it began.
Craig Mish of Sirius XM Radio reported on Thursday that Gore has signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.
Gore grew up in Miami and played his college ball at The U, so it is fitting that his 14th NFL season will be with the Dolphins. He’ll turn 35 in May, which makes it even more remark- able that he remained a pro-

ductive player in 2017. Gore spent his previous three seasons with the Indi- anapolis Colts and rushed for 961 yards last season.
3-To-6 Weeks After
Knee Procedure
Kyrie Irving under- went a knee procedure on Saturday that the Boston Celtics say will keep him out for 3-to-6 weeks.
Irving had a wire re- moved from his knee that had been placed there as a result of his patella fracture suffered in the 2015 NBA Finals. The expectation is that the removal of the wire will reduce irritation, but it will keep him out for sev- eral weeks.
The good news is that Irving’s knee is “struc- turally sound,” though it may still be an issue for him throughout his career.
Allen Hurns Agrees To Deal With Cowboys
KYRIE IRVING
While minor in the grand scheme of things, it cer- tainly sounds like he’ll have to hurry back if he wants to be ready to go for the start of the playoffs.
Dak Prescott will have an experienced new target to throw to next season, and the Dallas Cowboys have bolstered their wide receiver group by signing Allen Hurns.
Hurns, who met with the Cowboys on Wednesday and was also scheduled to speak with the New York Jets, on Friday that he has agreed to a deal with Dallas.
Hurns was a productive player with the Jacksonville Jaguars for four seasons, and he caught 39 passes for 484 yards in 2017 despite appearing in just 10 games.
ALLEN HURNS
His best season came in 2015, when Hurns racked up over 1,000 receiving yards and scored 10 touch- downs. The 26-year-old is a nice addition for the Cow- boys.
