Police: Murder Suspect ‘Stood Over’ Man And Shot Him
Robbery Suspect Being Sought By Police
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wants the public’s assistance in identify- ing a robbery suspect. The in- cident took place on June 11th, at approximately 3:37 a.m.
According to police, an unidentified Black man en- tered the Race Trac, 12750 W. Hillsborough Avenue. The man was wearing a stocking to cover his face, a black New York Yankee’s baseball cap with a camouflage brim, black pants and sneakers.
Armed with a knife, the man approached the clerk and demanded money. Once he was given the money from several cash drawers, he fled the scene.

Police Search For Car Burglary Suspect
On June 1st, an unidenti- fied man removed property from a vehicle in Odessa. The incident took place shortly after 1:30 a.m.
Surveillance video shows the suspect enter the un- locked vehicle. Once inside, he removed the victim’s Tom Tom GPS and fled the scene.
He is described as a Black man between 18 and 25 years of age. He is between 5’10” and 6’ tall and weighs be- tween 180 and 190 pounds. The man has a full beard and was last seen wearing a long sleeve jacket with a hoodie.

Detectives with the Tampa Police Department have identified a Tampa man as the suspect in a murder that took place April 27th. Detec- tives said the suspect stood over the victim and shot mul- tiple times after he fell.
Police have identified 29- year-old Anthony Bridge- man, a.k.a. “Meego,” as a suspect in the murder of Curtis E. Thomas, 39, a fa- ther of five children. Thomas’ body was found in the parking lot of the Lake Avenue Liquors, 2309 E. Lake Avenue.
Police gave the following account of events leading up to the murder.
Thomas was riding his bi- cycle shortly after midnight toward the business. As he arrived at the front of the
store, Thomas began yelling at Bridgeman. Police did not say what the confronta- tion was about.
Bridgeman is said to have pulled a firearm and shot Thomas several times. Thomas fell to the ground and Bridgeman allegedly walked over to him, pointed the gun, and shot Thomas in the head before leaving the scene.
Thomas died at the scene.
Police said security video inside the business just prior to the murder showed Bridgeman outside at the time of the murder.
Witnesses positively iden- tified Bridgeman as the person in the video and as the person who shot Thomas, police said.
According to detectives,
Bridgeman is a three-time convicted felon and should be considered armed and dan- gerous. He is currently wanted for first-degree mur- der, being a felon in posses- sion of a firearm, and violation of probation.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to the whereabouts and arrest of Michael An- thony Bridgeman.

ALF Worker Charged With Sexual Battery
A 55-year-old Plant City man is being held without bond at the Hillsborough County Jail. He is charged with sexual battery.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, Brian Coffee was arrested Tuesday and charged with the sexual battery of a men- tally and physically disabled adult. The alleged incident took place at an Assisted Liv- ing Facility in Hillsborough County.
Officials said Coffee was also a bus driver for the Polk County Public School District since 2010. He drove for the following schools during the 2016-2017 school year:

Sikes Elementary; and Kings- ford Elementary Schools.
There have been no inci- dents reported to authorities. However, officials are en- couraging anyone with infor- mation about inappropriate contact with students to con- tact the Polk County School District, Polk County Sher- iff’s Office, or Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Coffee has worked in sev- eral Assisted Living Facilities since 2009. Detectives are not aware of any other vic- tims. However, they are en- couraging anyone with information or knowledge of an unreported incident to call (813) 247-8200.
