Just Another Soul Sold
Why is everyone so mad at Tiger Woods? Over the last few weeks I've come across arti- cles, listened to radio broad- casts and watched talk shows where people, particularly Black people, seemed to feel a certain way about Woods going to the White house after his historic victory at the Masters Golf Tourna- ment last month and tear- fully accepting the Medal of Freedom from Donald Trump.
Apparently, a number of individuals felt that Woods should have followed the precedent set by other Black athletes recently who've won championships and refused Trump's invite. There is no doubt that it would have been a noble gesture on his part. But the people com- plaining must have forgotten one important thing... Tiger doesn't consider himself Black.
Of course, this isn't breaking news. He let that be known when he first hit the scene two decades ago after winning his first Masters.
Back then he even went as far as inventing a classifica-
tion for himself, "Caublasian," a term he said included all of his ancestry, Caucasian, Black and Asian. The thing that always threw me off about his self descrip- tion, though, is how the Cau- casian angle became a part of the equation considering his mother is from the Philip- pines and his father's her- itage is predominately Black on both sides of his family tree?
What I can't understand about the anger directed at Woods is how anyone could expect someone, who's been in constant denial about his background, to stand up for issues that directly affect the Black community?
It isn't like Woods has wavered on his chosen iden- tity over the years. And I can't imagine why anyone would think that current events, those that he proba- bly could care less about, would change his position?
Regardless of what he may be biologically, the fact of the matter is that, Woods could actually be categorized as a white guy. After all, he lives white, he loves white (never dated a Black
woman), he talks white (not in proper use of language, but in his forced nasal tone), and he even rocks his fading hairline as if he were a mid- dle-aged white man. It shouldn't be at all surprising that a dude like this, who tries this hard to be some- thing he isn't, would be more than honored to have Trump recognize him?
I think it's well past time that we (Black people) stop attempting to claim individ- uals who have absolutely no desire to be a part of our fold. They may appear as one of us aesthetically, but that's, more than likely, only due to the fact that the technology hasn't been invented yet for them to undergo complete racial reconstruction.
If individuals like
Clarence Thomas, O.J. Simpson, Zoe Saldana, Stacy Dash and Woods don't want to acknowledge their Blackness in a social sense, I say good riddance. We should be thankful for them openly showing their true colors (no pun in- tended), because, as long as they're already on the other side, we at least won't have to worry about them gaining our trust and then doing real harm by selling us out later. And, to me, that's a good thing.

Who Is Rhona Graff, And Why Are They Saying Such Peculiar Things About Her?
sk the infamous Omorosa, who used to be Donald
Trump’s “HNIC” until she dropped her memoirs in the middle of the road. It’s a wonder no wonder has been made about Rhona Graff up to this point.
Who is she? She’s the POTUS’s personal secretary . . . or to put it in Omorosa’s parlance, Rhona Graff is the one who knows where all the skeletons are buried.
So the question becomes, why have we not heard from this obvious bombshell who, if she chose, could spell the end of Trump’ the-legend any day of the week?
According to certain sources who beg to remain anonymous, Rhona Graff’s loyalty has remained air- tight throughout the years of their relationship.
Somehow and someway, Secretary Number One has remained unseen, unscathed, and literally unbothered by an often mosquito-like media while carrying in her person the keys to Trump’s Alice-in-Wonderland King- dom.
But perhaps, Trump’s last Ace-in-the-Hole may be coming to an end. How might that happen? Breaking News is always a possibility as is an increasing tena- cious FBI.
However, the most fallible trap would be Trump himself whose in-again/out-again friendships are leg- endary. So, the world waits, and Rhona Graff contin- ues to be a larger-than-life cartoon character . . . until Trump makes Omorosa mad again.
Be Ambitious
“Keep away from those who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you believe that you too can become great.”
Mark Twain
Empowered Greet- ings. Are you ready to have the fire of ambition re-ignited in your life? Then keep reading. Wikipedia de- fines ambition as the desire for personal achievement. It provides the motivation and determination necessary to achieve...
Whatever it is you desire to achieve this year, do it with adamant ambition. Don’t let nothing stop you! Thomas
Jefferson said, “Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal...” Be am- bitious.
“The very substance of the ambitious is merely the shadow of a dream,” accord- ing to William Shake- speare. It’s time to wake up from the nightmare of your life and live your dreams. Be ambitious.
Go after what you want. Be ambitious. Don’t wait for anybody’s stamp of approval to pursue your passions. Be ambitious. Be fearless and unshaken about your future. Be ambitious. Great things are on the horizon for you, if you be ambitious.
Just a word of encourage-
ment today, as I empower you, use this word to em- power yourself. Then share it to empower someone else.
