MR. RONDALD ‘HICK’ HICKENBOTTOM
Mr. Ronald “Hick” Hicken- bottom, 68, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 12 noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Rev. W. D. Sims, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
“Hick” was born on August 12th, 1950 in Ocala, FL, to the parentage of Fullard and Evelyn Hickenbottom and lived in the Ocala/Tampa areas until 2009, after which he relocated to Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania with his daughter, Matosha Robin- son.
At a younger age, “Hick” had a love for playing the drums and traveled with several bands in the late ’70s. He became a Truck Driver for many years and spent his last trucking years alongside his son-in-law, Travis Edwards, traveling the northeastern states. Over the last 10 years, he continued to travel and most re- cently visited Canada, Niagara Falls, Boston and New York City, to name a few. He loved spending time with family and friends... especially in joy.
Hick was preceded in death by: his parents, Fullard and Eve- lyn and daughter, Shenita Hick- enbottom-Searcy.
Hick is survived by: his daughter, Matosha Robinson of Selinsgrove, PA; step-children, Laurentis Colbert (Bernadette), Tiki Edwards (Travis), Jamel Colbert (Keocean), Torrius Hooper (Wayne), Hariena Saf- fold (Alonzo) and Monsandto Perry; sister, Sherrell Lewis; beloved ex-wife and friend, Linda Hickenbottom-Freeman; nieces, Latoya Lewis, Marissa Lewis, Shatasia Small (Nick), Reejetta Miller and Shundalar Miller; grand-niece, Camiyah Turner; grand-nephew, Desleon Burnett; and a host of inherited grandchildren including, Shatarra, Ceterra, Jaluan, Jalu- ante, Taniyah, Diamond, Gene’Ana, Eugene, Dashawn and Jamel Colbert, Jr., Warren, Wayne, Jr., Khalil, Nehemiah and Sydni Hooper, Janay Sims and Lariena Sims; son-in-law, Marcus Searcy; friends, includ- ing, Linda Peoples, Slim, Bern, Derrick Tuggerson, Earl Moore, Robert Moore and other rela- tives.
There will be a viewing on Friday, May 17, 2019, from 5 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at the chapel at approxi- mately 11:45 a. m. Saturday for the service.

Tyrone was retired from the City of Tampa Waste Water.

MR. CLYDE W. HOLLINS, JR.
Graveside service for Mr. Clyde W. Hollins, Jr., who passed away on May 1, 2019, will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 10 a. m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, 4406 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Hollins is survived by: his wife, Jean D. Hollins; chil- dren, Aaron Hollins, Florence Hollins and Clyde W. Hollins, III; grandchildren, Tiffany Hollins, Troy Hollins, Aaron Hollins, Jr., Tierra Cannon, Asia Hollins, Kiana Hollins and Christian Hollins; brothers and sisters, Jerry Hollins, Benjamin Hollins, Edith Hollins, Ronald McKinley Hollins, Mary Edith Hollins and other relatives and friends.
A native of Indianapolis, In- diana, Mr. Clyde W. Hollins, Jr., had resided in the Tampa area for the past 8 years, coming from New York. Mr. Hollins re- tired from the United States Postal Service as a Mail Carrier. He loved football and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

SISTER MERCY LEE JOHNSON
Homegoing Celebration for Sister Mercy Lee Johnson, who passed on Saturday, May 11, 2019, will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Tampa, Florida, with Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pastor, officiating. In- terment will follow in Florida Na- tional Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Mercy Lee Johnson was born January 2, 1934 to the parentage of Charlie Johnson and Willie Mae Wiley in Laurel, Delaware. She was educated in the public schools in Delaware. In 1952 she relocated to Tampa, Florida, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Lawson Johnson, Jr., in 1953. They later moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1961 and returned to make their home in Florida in 1993. Mercy was employed for many years at Schrafft’s Candy until she retired in 1973.
Mercy was a long time mem- ber of The First Baptist Church of Progress Village under the pas- torate of the late Rev. Roosevelt Robinson, Jr., and now current pastor, Dr. Sam Maxwell. She re- mained active in the fellowship until her health would no longer permit. She was active in the Hos- pitality Ministry and the Dea- coness Ministry.
Mercy was preceded in death by both parents; daughter, Denise L. Johnson-Blacknall and broth- ers, Ostell Johnson and Edward Daniels.
Mercy leaves to cherish loving memories with: her husband of 65 years, Lawson Johnson, Jr.; daughter, Joanne Johnson; son, Lawson Keith Johnson and girl- friend, Sarah Bercaw; grand- daughter, Takisha K. Johnson and boyfriend, Clinton Crawford; sister, Helen Greaves; brother, Cornell Daniels; nephew, Rashad Majied; niece, Chandra Mustafaa; numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing rela- tives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s As- sociation, 14010 Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 709, Clearwater, Florida 33762, in memory of Mercy Lee Johnson.

Mr. Walter Baldwin, 82, of Tampa (Progress Village), FL, passed away May 8, 2019.
