Nick Cannon Daytime Talk Show Pushed Back, But Still Alive, Following Anti-Semitic Comments
When given a special talent, there is a responsibility to use that gift to help make the world better for as many people as humanly possible.” This mantra is more like a lifestyle for Jared Bentley, a Sulphur Springs made vocalist/songwriter and performer who launched a mu- sical career that has rewarded him with many accomplishments.
Bentley has traveled around the United States advancing his music career and reaching the hearts of fans nationwide. He has been cho- sen to perform the opening act for many mainstream celebrities in live concert. He was also the winner of a Front of the Line Pass via ABC News for American Idol.
Jared, whose birth name is Caleb Earl Glymph, has a natu- ral aptitude for music which be- came evident at the early age of three. Bentley says, “Growing up, I was never like the children around me. While other kids just wanted to play games, I wanted to produce music. It was always my goal to express myself through music and have it explode into a world renowned sound that would capture the mind of listeners near and far.”
Bentley added, “At that time in mylife,Ihadnoideahowtousemy musical ability. I remember being very shy. I was extremely shy, nev- ertheless, there was something in- side of me that drove me to participate in school activities.”
He reflected on a time in his life when he began to step into the tal- ent God gave him. He realized after the passing of his grandfather, the late Deacon Earl Glymph, the time had come to embark on a jour- ney that would lead to him turning his dream into a reality. He per- formed in grade school gospel choirs, participated in high school and college talent shows, and wrote and recorded music in his bed-
room. In an effort to elevate his music to another level, he helped organize a local entertainment group called (DSB) Dem Squad Boys. The group performed around at local talent shows and was soon after showcased in news- papers and various entertainment venues.
Bentley’s path toward success in his career was not a lonely one. He was nurtured and supported by a loving family. His late grandfa- ther inspired him to always work hard to follow his dreams. His mother, grandmother and aunt re- main staunch supporters of Jared’s music. They offer encour- agement and help keep him grounded and focused.
When asked, what’s one thing you would want the world to know about you and what you’re doing? Bentley replied, “Simply, I want everyone to know that this is not just about me by a long shot. I have orchestrated a movement, the “Jared Bentley Music Group”. Joining me in this movement are my real deal homies since elemen- tary and high school, and my fam- ily. We are committed to addressing many of societal needs. There are people in this world who need assistance in so many ways and it is my belief that with talent comes influence; with influence comes responsibility. I am confi- dent that our group can make a major, positive impact on the world.”
Currently, Bentley has released a new album fifteen track classic EP entitled “Elements,” which features artists such as Tom G. His music is streamed worldwide on all major platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play and YouTube. Bentley invites to follow him by joining his over ten thousand fol- lowers on Instagram @Jaredbent- leymusicgroup.

Cannon, who also hosts Fox's The Masked Singer, was set to host and executive produce an eponymous show from Lions- gate's Debmar-Mercury. The show was cleared in more than 90 percent of the country, in- cluding all of the 20 biggest markets, with Fox-owned sta-

Lionsgate says it's standing by Cannon, but will hold off on the daytime show for a year.
"The Nick Cannon talk show will not debut this year. After conversations with Nick, we do believe that his public comments don’t reflect his true feelings and his apology is heartfelt and sincere,"

Megan Thee Stallion Says She's 'Incredibly Grateful To Be Alive' After Being Shot Multiple Times
Megan Thee Stallion suf- fered multiple gunshot wounds July 12 and is currently recov- ering.
She shared a detailed ac- count on Instagram on July 15 of what happened over the weekend, when fellow rapper Tory Lanez was arrested on a gun charge after police officers found the weapon in his car along with the "Hot Girl" rap- per and another woman.
"On Sunday morning, I suf- fered gunshot wounds, as a re- sult of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me," she wrote in the public note in an attempt to set the record straight. "I was never arrested, the police offi- cers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I'm incredi- bly grateful to be alive and that I'm expected to make a full re- covery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night."
The original TMZ story re- ported that Meg had a cut on

her foot, which led to police searching the car and finding the gun.
As the 25-year-old artist plans to focus on recovery so she can return to her music, she described the experience as an "eye opener and a blessing in disguise" in her caption.
Tory Lanez Allegedly Shot Megan Thee Stallion While She Was 'Trying to Leave' Vehicle
“Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave,” a source told reporters. “There is video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming
and abusing a woman.” Megan's producer and
bodyguard both rallied behind their friend, but issued stern warnings to Lanez, implying that he was the one responsible for her injuries. "I hope y’all don’t believe he was defending her! This a bulls--t story,' said Lil Ju Made The Beat in since-deleted tweets this week. This is not over"
Lanez was released on Thursday morning on posting a $35,000 bail. He was arrested Sunday night in Los Angeles after cops found a gun in his car. He has not been arrested for the shooting and is expected to claim that it was accidental.
