Montrezl Harrell Leaves Bubble To Deal With Family Emergency
MONTREZL HARRELL
Montrezl Harrell is out of the NBA bubble, at least for the moment.
It appears Harrell left the Orlando bubble to be with his grandma.
Harrell posted on IG live, “don’t worry ma ma your grandson on the way.”
When he returns to the bubble, Harrell will be sub- ject to a league-mandated quarantine of at least four days before he can begin team activities again.
Derrick Henry, Titans Reach Agreement On 4-Year, $50M Deal
DERRICK HENRY
The Tennessee Titans and star running back Derrick Henry have reached agree- ment on a four-year, $50M contract that includes $25.5M guaranteed.
The Titans announced the deal Wednesday but didn't dis- close terms. They have now reached new deals with Henry and quarterback Ryan Tan- nehillin one offseason.
Henry's contract, which averages $12.5M per year, makes him the NFL's fifth- highest-paid running back, trailing only the Panthers' Christian McCaffrey ($16 M), the Cowboys' Ezekiel El- liott ($15M), the Jets' Le'Veon Bell ($13.1M) and the Texans' David Johnson ($13M).
  Using $5 Million NBA
Bubble Salary To Start
Social Justice Fund
Jrue Holiday and his wife, Lauren, have decided to dedicate Holiday’s NBA bubble salary to starting a so- cial justice fund aimed at supporting and continuing the Black Lives Matter move- ment.
Holiday told ESPN that he and Lauren, a retired USWNT soccer player, are starting the Jrue and Lauren Holiday Social Justice Im- pact Fund, and using his re- maining NBA bubble paychecks — which the NBPA estimates could be as much as $5.3 million — to do it.
The fund will focus on three cities: New Orleans, In- dianapolis, and Los Angeles. New Orleans was chosen be-

cause Holiday currently plays there, Indianapolis was chosen because Lauren is from there, and Los Angeles was chosen because Holi- day is from there — plus, he and Lauren met there while they were both attending UCLA.
A 2003-04 LeBron James Upper Deck rookie Patch Parallel card sold at auction for $1.845 million on Sunday at Goldin Auctions to Lob.com CEO Leore Avi- dar.
The price tag on the rare card sets a record for mod- ern-day cards (recognized as cards produced in 1980 or later) and is the most any basketball card has ever sold for.
"If we were talking about
a T206 [Honus] Wagner, or a 1952 [Mickey] Mantle, it probably wouldn't be that much news," said Ken Goldin, founder of Goldin Auctions.
"But when you're talking about a card that was literally produced 17 years ago and is for a guy still playing in the NBA, it's just shocking news to a lot of people. It's really where my particular industry has been going for several years."
   Tracy McGrady, Jermaine O’Neal To
Start Player Agency
TRACY MCGRADY AND JERMAINE O’NEAL
Former NBA players Tracy McGrady and Jer- maine O’Neal are planning to team up to launch a new player agency.
McGrady and O’Neal became friends when they were both young players in the NBA.
The two were first-round picks in consecutive drafts, and they became friends since they shared an agent and shoe company they part- nered with.
According to the New York Times’ Marc Stein, who wrote an in-depth story about the players’ plans, Mc- Grady and O’Neal spent the past few months while they were at home in quaran- tine talking about things they could do. They decided they wanted to pursue creating an agency, believing they can help young black players.
The agency will be called Seven1 Sports Group and En- tertainment.
