MR. ELIJAH ‘LARRY’ FREEMAN
Mr. Elijah “Larry” Free- man was born on May 5, 1958 to the late Elder Joe Nathan Freeman, Sr. and Savannah Davis Freeman in Ozark, AL. He was the eighth of fourteen chil- dren. He later moved to Tampa, FL, where he resided until his death on August 1, 2017.
He is survived by: his daughters, LaTasha Free- man (Jerry) Holmes and Eboni Freeman; grand- children, Kamren Grier, JoNique, Jasmine and JaShaun Holmes, all of Tampa, FL; seven broth- ers, Leroy (Eloise), Joe Nathan, Jr. (Lillian), James (Eleanor), and Roosevelt, all of Ozark, AL, Matthew Freeman of Dothan, AL, Keith (Teresa) of Warner Robins, GA, and Jerome of Ktown, Germany; five sisters, Mary Smith of Daleville, AL, Sally Dick- erson of Cola, SC, Frances Hutton of Jacksonville, FL, Sarah Jones of Pell City, AL, and Flora Free- man of Montgomery, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, the late Elder Joe Nathan Freeman, Sr. and Savan- nah Davis Freeman, both of Ozark, AL; sister, Mar- gret Freeman Guadalupe of Brooklyn, New York.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 10 a. m.-12 p. m. at Faith United Methodist Church of Tampa Fellowship Hall, 4410 W. Sligh Ave., Tampa, FL 33614.
