The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers announced on Tuesday that the team has promoted cornerback John Franklin, III and wide receiver Jay- don Mickens from the team’s practice squad. In ad- dition, the Buccaneers have waived wide receiver Ish- mael Hyman and tight end Jordan Leggett.
Franklin, III (6-1, 186) has been with the Buccaneers practice squad since Week 11 and was with the Chicago Bears throughout the 2019 preseason, after spending part of the 2018 season on Chicago’s practice squad. The

MARSHAWN LYNCH
Moments after Seattle Sea- hawks defensive coordinator Ken Norton, Jr. spoke with reporters at Seahawks head- quarters Tuesday, Marshawn Lynch made an unscheduled visit to the podium and waited for the first question.
Asked what brought him back to Seattle, Lynch shared a brief message, smiled and walked away.
"Happy holidays," he said. "Merry New Year. Y'all have a great day. It's a great feeling to be back. Thank you."
Lamar Jackson Gifts Baltimore Ravens Offensive Linemen Rolex Watches
LAMAR JACKSON
Savvy quarterbacks know keeping the big men up front content makes for an easier life. In his second season, Lamar Jackson is proving wise beyond his years not only with his play, but in emerging as a locker room leader.
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback gifted the mem- bers of the Ravens' offensive line slick-looking Rolex watches on Christmas Eve. Tackle Ronnie Stanley posted a video of him showing off his newest accessory and shouted out Jackson in Balti- more's locker room.
Whether you stand or kneel in them, a pair of Air Force 1 sneakers that Nike made in collaboration with Colin Kaepernick hit the market on Monday.
But you're out of luck if you're trying to order through Nike's website or through the company's SNKRS app, because the shoes quickly sold out online. You may be in luck if stores near you have them in stock.
While Nike is a major partner of the NFL, the brand made the 32-year-old activist

To say that the second Battle of Los Angeles was de- cided by a fingertip would be both technically true and overly simplistic.
The Los Angeles Clippers eked past the Los Angeles Lakers, 111-106, at the Sta- ples Center on Wednesday, finishing off a Christmas Day thriller thanks to Patrick Beverley’s quick hands. With the Clippers clinging to a three-point lead in the game’s closing seconds, Bev- erley poked the ball free from LeBron James as the Lakers forward was loading up a signature step-back three-pointer.
Slow-motion replays showed that the ball improb- ably grazed off James’s hands before it went out of bounds, giving possession to the Clippers and granting Beverley another game- saving stand to add to his lengthy resume. James looked around in disbelief and the pro-Lakers crowd fell into a hush as Beverley cel-

ebrated wildly, his instinctive lunge helping to cap a 15- point Clippers comeback in the second half.
James, who said that he was feeling the effects of a groin injury, was content to spend the closing minutes on the perimeter rather than probing deep into the Clip- pers’ defense. As a result, the Lakers endured an extended scoreless drought, with Danny Green missing a pair of three-pointers, Davis turning the ball over under duress on the perimeter, and James and Kyle Kuzma each missing three-pointers on empty possessions.
Floyd Mayweather may be retired from the hurt busi- ness, but the longtime boxing king made sure to rake in a lot of coin before he rode off into the sunset.
In fact, Floyd was so “Money” over the last 10 years that he is officially Forbes “Highest Paid Athlete of the Decade.”
