Police Officer Surprises Family In Need With Gifts
One Tampa Police offi- cer had several encounters with a local family during the year. And, he became aware that their single mother would not be able to buy them gifts.
Officer Justin Legg had met Mrs. Crystal Berry while answering calls about her children being bullied while walk- ing home from school. He also knew that she was a single mother of seven children, ages, 15, 13, 11, 6, 5, and twin boys who are 3-years-old.

He also knew she wasn’t receiving any help from the fathers and she was also caring for her mother who had recently been injured in a fall.
When Officer Legg learned she wouldn’t be able to purchase her chil- dren gifts, he went into ac- tion. He contacted Foster Angels of Hillsborough County and secured sev- eral gifts for the children. His act of kindness made Christmas special for one Tampa family this year.
