2nd Annual Little Miss Rosebud College Endowment & Enrichment Program
Gamma Theta Omega, In- corporated in Partnership with Gamma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, announces its 2nd Annual Little Miss Rosebud Col- lege Endowment & En- richment Program. The event is in conjunction with the 2020 Miss Teenage Tampa Scholarship Pageant, an iconic scholarship pro- gram in the Tampa Bay com- munity for more than 40
years.
The Little Miss Rosebud
College Endowment & En- richment Program is the first of its kind and will feature fif- teen young girls ages 5 to 9 years old, who reside in the Greater Tampa Bay area (Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinel- las, & Polk Counties). Its pur- pose is three-fold, to empower and inspire young girls, encourage early savings for college and raise academic scholarship funds for future
scholars.
Leading up to the pageant,
age-appropriate workshops for Little Miss Rosebud par- ticipants will focus on build- ing self-confidence, the importance of education and giving back to the community. Parents will participate in a workshop focused on the ben- efits of proactively planning for their children’s future through saving for college today.
The participant raising the
largest amount of tax-de- ductible contributions will be crowned 2020 Little Miss Rosebud and awarded a Florida Prepaid 1-Year Uni- versity Plan scholarship val- ued at $7,000. As every participant is a winner, all Lit- tle Miss Rosebud participants will receive a Florida 529 Col- lege Savings Plan. Additional prizes will be awarded the evening of the program.

richment Program will be held at the Straz Cen- ter for the Performing Arts on April 5, 2020 and is poised to be a memorable evening.
