CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: 250,000 marched.
Chicago saw a huge turnout, with estimates of 250,000 people. The actual march itself was can- celled due to the huge crowds, turning the event into a rally that spilled out of Grant Park.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK: 200,000 marched.
Around 200,000 New Yorkers rallied in Midtown Manhattan, double the number of protest- ers had estimated. The marchers, who had to be staggered in waves because of the numbers, headed up Fifth Avenue towards Trump Tower.
DENVER, COLORADO: 100,000 marched.
An estimated 100,000 people in Denver turned up to protest at the Civic Center, chanting “love not hate makes America great.”
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS : 100,000 marched.
More than 100,000 protesters crowded into the Boston Commons, including Senator Eliza- beth Warren, one of the fiercest criticisms of Donald Trump.
There were marches in Nashville, TN, (15,000) Sacramento, CA, (20,000) and Austin,TX, (50,000). Locally, the march in St. Petersburg was planned to only draw a few hundred, but 20,000 marched.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 500,000+ marched.
The Los Angeles Police Department estimates 500,000 people took to the streets of Los An- geles, although event organizers say the number of protesters was even higher, according to the LA Times. It is reportedly the highest turnout for any rally in the city for at least a decade.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: 100,00 marched.
Thousands turned out for a social justice march in Atlanta, Georgia, with civil rights hero and congressman John Lewis telling the crowd to “never quit” “never give up” and to get into “good trouble.”
PHOENIX, ARIZONA: 20,000 marched on a rainy day.
A march that started at the Arizona State Capitol and paraded through the streets of Phoenix, Arizona attracted a surprising 20,000 people, in the Red state, according to an estimate by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA: 60,000 marched
In Oakland, California 60,000 people took to the streets for the local women’s march, with hundreds also rallying in neighboring Berkeley.
