“Our sole purpose is to be a help to the disadvantaged youth in hopes of making a dif- ference in their lives now and in the future,” said Bryant, Sr.

Teen Who Has Struggled With Cerebral Palsy To Give Trial Sermon Sunday
BY GWEN HAYES Sentinel Editor
Patrick Jackson- Williams has overcome many obstacles in his young life. And, there are some obstacles he still struggles with. However, has never let that hinder him from achieving.
Patrick was born two months early, weighing only 2 pounds, 8 ounces. In spite of such a rough beginning, he has achieved many milestones. Things that come naturally to teens, such as talking, walking and starting school, at first, Patrick tackled with difficulty. He has Cerebral Palsy.
These are things Patrick’s mother, Ms. Patricia Jack- son, didn’t think he’d ever achieve. Now as he approaches his 16th birthday on June 3, 2015 (another milestone), he finds himself about to be li- censed as a youth minister under the auspices of Contin- ual Outpouring International Ministries, Pastors Carlos and Lynne Sims.
Patrick knows that he was predestined by God to move into this calling. He under- stands that if it had not been for the Lord on his side, and the prayers of family and friends, he would not be here

today. He sees this calling as an ‘honor,’ and he has a work to do for God’s Kingdom.
“Our generation is lost,” Patrick says. “Our only limita- tions are those we put on our- selves. So take the limits off and allow God to use you!”
This service will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2015, 6 p. m. at Full Gospel Church of God in Christ, 1904 E. Osborne Ave.
In addition to his mother, Patrick is also the son of the late Alexander Williams; grandson of Leona Williams and the late George Williams and the late Bertha Crumpler Jackson and Alexander Jackson.
