Prince Hall Shriners Gives Back To The Community

On December 15, 2021, Harram Temple No. 23, do- nated a total of $1,000 to two local non-profit organiza- tions.
The Temple presented a check in the amount of $500 to the East Tampa Business and Civic Association (ETBCA) at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Tampa FL 33605. Florida State Representative Di- anne Hart received the do- nation.
Another $500 check was presented to Pastor Samuel Washington, New Seasons Apostolic Min-

On December 19, 2021, Harram Temple No. 23, Prince Hall Shriners, elected Noble Marc S. Brewing- ton, Tampa, Florida, as the Illustrious Potentate for the ensuing Shrine Year, 2022. Noble Brewington’s theme for the ensuing year is “Learn More! Do More! Be More!”
Harram Temple No. 23 is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organi- zation. Some of the charitable endeavors and programs the Temple is involved with in- cludes and not limited to the following: Support to the Ed- ucational/Charity program, which covers (school sup- plies/book bags), Youth Men- toring, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Shriners As Mentors (SAM), Hillsborough County Branch NAACP Voter Educa- tion/Registration drives, Na- tional Community Health Initiative (NCHI), Metropoli- tan Ministries, East Tampa Business and Civic Associa- tion (ETBCA), New Seasons Apostolic Ministries (NSAM), the Homeless Outreach pro- gram through working in the community, annual holiday food basket distribution/give-a-way for those families who are less fortunate during the holiday season, the Watts Sanderson Jr. Memorial/Educational Scholarship program, and much more only to name a few!
According to Noble Brew- ington, Illustrious Poten- tate, “Harram Temple No. 23 is the Flagship Temple throughout the Desert of Florida and the Imperial Do- main (world)”, he said.

The ETBCA improves the living conditions for chil- dren, families, seniors, and regularly provides food, clothing, and toys to the community as well.
