  AIKENS
      REV. CALEB RICHARD BATCHELOR
A Homegoing Celebration for Rev. Caleb Richard Batchelor, “Sone” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away, Thursday, May 21, 2020, will be held Saturday, May 30th, 2 p. m., at New Progress M. B. Church, 3307 E. Shadowlawn Ave., Rev. Maurice Taylor, pastor, offici- ating. The interment will be in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Caleb was born to George Batch- elor and Florence Brown on Decem- ber 28, 1936 in Claremont, St. Ann, Jamaica. He was educated in the public schools of Jamaica and con- tinued his education in Tampa, Florida, when he came to the United States on May 5, 1973. Rev. Batche- lor worked as a truck driver at Cohen Brothers Construction Com- pany and later worked at Cox Enter- prises.
In 1978, Caleb transitioned into ministry under the guidance and di- rection of the late Rev. E. J. Williams, Jr. Rev. Batchelor was very active in the Tampa Bay Com- munity committing his time and tal- ents to: Pastors On Patrol, Baptist Ministers Conference, collaborated with the State’s Attorney Office, 13th Judicial Circuit, Chaplain at St. Joseph’s and Tampa General Hospi- tals and a 32nd Degree Mason, with St. John Lodge #30 of International Free & Accepted Modern Masons for over 20 years.
Additionally, Rev. Batchelor was a life-long member and served in many roles at New Progress M. B. Church as a trustee, deacon and as- sistant pastor. He had a winning personality and a bright smile, he brought many souls to Christ. He fought the “Good Fight” and God saw fit to call his faithful servant home to eternal rest.
Rev. Batchelor was preceded in death by: his parents and brother, O. (Junior) Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memo- ries: his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Wilhelmenia Batchelor; children, son, Mark Batchelor (An- niece) of Kingston, Jamaica; 2 daughters, Charmain Batchelor of Portmore, Jamaica and Tanya Batchelor Judge (Adrian) of Tampa, Florida; step-daughter, Regina Johnson; grandson, Daniel Sierra, Jr.; granddaughters, Carla Francis, Samantha, Stacey and Natalia Batchelor; and step-grandson, Joshua Graham; brother, Archie Batchelor of Canada; sisters, Mavis White, Ruth Dwyer and Shirly Riley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and extended family, friends and mentees who he impacted during his lifetime.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 29th from 3 to 5 p. m. The family will receive friends during the visi- tation from 3-4 p. m.
The family and friends will meet at the church on Saturday for the service. The CDC guidelines will be followed.

ELDER FRANK JOHN CLAY
A Homegoing Visitation for Elder Frank John Clay of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tues- day, May 19, 2020, will be held Thursday, May 28th, 4 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery in Albany, Georgia.
Elder Frank J. Clay was born on January 18, 1933 to Henry Lee and Clara Mae Clay in Branwood, Georgia. John was the youngest son of five children. He received his formal education through the Terrel County Public School Sys- tem. At an early age he professed his faith in Jesus Christ. He was united in holy matrimony to Mother Louise Clay in September 1963. This union was blessed with 8 children. Mother Clay preceded him in death on June 12, 1948.
He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Greta Clay; son, Elden Clay and stepdaughter, Regina Scott; stepson, Earl Scott; grandson, Gerald Robinson; sis- ters, Kate and Doris Clay; brother, Robert Clay and mother-in-law, Sara Lee Scott.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with his wife, Joann Clay; sons, Sam Culbreth, John (Bernice) and Leon S. MR. PRESTON DALLAS DICKERSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Preston Dallas Dickerson of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020, will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 10 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be in Florida National Cemetery.
Preston was born in Pocomoke City, Maryland on October 26, 1952, to the late Dover Lee Dicker- son and Mildred Schoolfield.
He was preceded in death by: his parents and sister, Janice Dick- erson.
Preston worked at the shipyard and volunteered at the Salvation Army.
He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories with: his lov- ing wife, Mary Alford Dickerson; 3 step-children, Theresa Jinks (Mark), Christine Valdez (Scott) and Marcellious Alford; 9 grand- children; siblings, Emma Woods (Patrick Woods), Cheryl Randall (Larry Randall), all of Virginia, Paul A. Paul was born June 28, 1942, in Millen, Georgia, to the late Robert and Bertha Height. He graduated from Burgess Landrum High School in 1960. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving his coun- try from 1967-1969.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Cora Height; parents and brothers and sisters.

Jarvis Antonio Rivers was born July 28, 1980 in Tampa, Florida. He enjoyed cooking and socializing with family and friends; he never met a stranger.
