Body Identified As Missing Woman Suffers
  Teenager With Tampa Ties
Gunshot Wound In East Tampa
Police have positively identified a body found last weekend as a missing teenager. He was reported missing in September 2017.
Police said the skeletal re- mains were found last Satur- day by an individual working in a rural area of Manatee County.
The cause of death of Jabez Spann has not been determined. However, the police check said it is un- likely that the teenager went to Manatee County of his own volition. At the time of his disappearance, police were investigating informa- tion that the teenager had witnessed a murder.

The Labor Day holiday in September 2017 was the last time anyone had any contact with Spann. The teenager was last seen in Sarasota on
September 4th, in the 1500 block of 23rd Street, in Sara- sota.
He was in Sarasota where his grandmother lives. How- ever, the teenager has family who resides in Tampa.
A reward of up to $50,000 was being offered by law enforcement. How- ever, no one came forward with any information.

An unidentified woman in her late 40s was taken to a local hospital Tuesday af- ternoon. She was suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to the Tampa Police Department, officers responded to the 3200 block of E. Deleuil Avenue. When the officers arrived, they
found the woman. She was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
The woman is expected to survive.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward. The investigation is continu- ing.
     Armed Suspects Charged In Crime Spree
Plant City Man Dies Of Gunshot Wounds
 Two men have been ar- rested and charged in connec- tion with a crime spree. Three offenses were committed dur- ing a 3-day period using a handgun.
Nicholas Rene Rogers,
28, was charged with armed burglary of a conveyance, robbery with a firearm, carry- ing a concealed firearm, pos- session of cocaine, and possession of drug parapher- nalia.
Carl Anthony Harris,
24, was charged with armed burglary of a convenience, and aggravated assault with the intent to commit a felony.
According to Tampa Po- lice, the crime spree began on February 18th, when an armed assailant entered the Wal- greens, 4651 W. Kennedy Blvd., at 5:02 a.m. After rob- bing the store, he fled the scene.

According to the Plant City Police Department, po- lice responded to 909 Madi- son Street, West, in reference to a shooting. When they ar- rived at the location Tuesday, shortly before 4 p.m., they discovered the man. He had been shot at least once and was taken to a local hospital by Plant City Fire Rescue.

An individual in the car confronted two men attempt- ing to commit the burglary. A second victim responded and attempted to intervene, and a verbal confrontation took place.
The argument escalated and one of the men threat- ened the two victims with a gun. He then fired a shot into the air. The two suspects then fled the scene.
The two were appre- hended at the Score’s Gentle- men’s Club, 2310 N. Dale Mabry, which is located across the street from where the attempted car burglary took place, police said.
Police identified Rogers as the suspect in the armed robbery of the Dunkin Donuts. Further investigation allegedly tied him to armed robbery of the Walgreens.
The investigation into the crime spree is continuing, po- lice said.
Police are now asking anyone with information pertaining to the murder to contact them. They believe that as many as three people could be involved in the shooting.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is also offering a reward of up to $3,000 for informa- tion regarding the identity of the suspects.
