He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
His proudest moment was recording a hole-in-one at the Babe Zaharias golf course. It was also on the golf course where he met and fell in love with Carla Coonce and in 2008, they were married in Lake City, Florida. To- gether they united in a love that exemplified the words of John (4:7) “Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.”
Jack is preceded in death by: Mildred (wife), Anlaurie (wife) and Alphonso (brother) and is survived by: Carla Levy and her sons, James and Norman Black, John W. Levy, II (Anlaurie) his wife, Jennifer, and their three children Tyrone, his wife, Barbara and the two children Hailey, and Raquel; Chanel, her husband, Kevin and daughter, Harlow; Blake and his wife, Rukshani and their two children, Kaili and Aiyla; his daughter, Andrea Riddick and her two children, Perseus and Morgan; his stepson, Leroy Milledge (Mildred); and nephew, Wayne Levy (Alphonso).
The family of Jack Levy re- quests that in lieu of flowers, me- morials be given to the St. Andrew’s Foundation. The family also wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Henry Gallo, Dr. Phillip Atigra, LifePath Hospice, the Blunt and Curry Funeral Home and the clergy, vestry and members of St. Andrew’s Episco- pal Church.

Homegoing Services for Mrs. Belinda Ann Heard Morris, AKA “Boom,’ who passed away on February 8, 2019, will be held Saturday February 23, 2019, at 11 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Otis Cooper, Pastor of New Rising Star Min- istries, officiating. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Belinda was born on March 24, 1965 in Helena, Arkansas to Rosie Ayers and the late Ceasar Heard.
Belinda grew up in West Palm Beach, FL and she attended Forest Hill Community High School. Belinda enjoyed playing her music loud and she loved her children. Belinda Ann Heard Morris departed this life on Fri- day, February 8, 2019
Belinda was preceded in death by: her husband, Johnny Morris, Sr. son, Johnny Morris, Jr.; brother, Larry Evans; and sister, Debra Hubb.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories: children, Keon Morris, Marvin Morris, Jarvin Morris, Darvin Morris and Sha- teeka Morris; grandson, Johnny B. Morris; mother, Rosie; sister, Ida Ivory; brothers, Nathaniel James Ward, Silas Havard; un- cles, Thomas and Mary Ayres, Willie and Mary; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation for Belinda Ann Morris will be held this Friday evening from 5 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at 10:45 a. m. on Saturday.

DR. JOHN WALTER LEVY
On Valentine’s Day, 14 Febru- ary 2019, Dr. John (Jack) Walter Levy, loving husband and father of two children (John and An- drea), passed in peace at the age of 88 in Tampa, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a. m. on 1 March 2019 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church with the Reverend John Reese of St. Andrew’s officiating. A recep- tion will follow at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church Parish Hall. Arrangements are by Blount and Curry Funeral Home, Carroll- wood Chapel.
Jack was born in 1930 in Sa- vannah, Georgia, the youngest of two children to Alphonso and Annie (Lovett) Levy. He was a proud alum of the Alfred E. Beach High School in Savannah. A dedi- cated academic, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Savannah State College, Master’s Degree from New York University and then a Doctorate from the Univer- sity of Georgia in 1970.
Dr. Levy spent his entire pro- fessional career enriching the lives of students as a teacher and a professor at the University of South Florida, until his retire- ment in 1996. He continued his impact on the community through his work as an active member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. At St. Andrew’s he shared his love for learning through the Kairos Prison Ministry where he cele- brated the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ with incarcerated men and their fami- lies, striving to become loving and productive citizens of their com- munities.
Jack had a passion for golf.

Standoff At Funeral Home Ends Peacefully
Around 2 p.m., Tuesday, police responded to an East Tampa funeral home in reference to a barricaded man inside. They were also told that the man was armed.
When officers arrived at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Martin Luther King, Jr., they learned that the unidentified man was distraught and talked about harming himself.
The SWAT Team was activated and police communicated with the man for more than 90 minutes. The man then came out and was taken into custody.
After being taken into custody, the unidentified man was trans- ported to a local hospital for evalua- tion. There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
