The Tampa Police Depart- ment is still in need of the community’s help to find a missing woman. She has been missing from her residence since January 8, 2019. Her family reported her missing on January 11, 2019.
According to police, Ms. Deborah Washington Saucier was last seen around 9 a.m., on January 8th in the 1200 block of E. 18th Avenue.
She is 62 years of age and is 5’3” tall. She weighs 200 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Ms. Saucier also has a scar on her left wrist. She also has a visible surgical scar on her left shoulder.
She was last seen wearing a brown cap, a dark colored top, and dark sweat pants. Ms. Saucier was last seen driving her vehicle. However, the vehicle was found aban- doned near Julian B. Lane Park, 1,000 block of N. Blvd., on Monday, January 14th. Her purse, ID, keys and cell phone were located inside the vehi- cle, police said.
Detectives have followed all leads they have received. However, none of them have led them to the whereabouts of the mother and grand- mother. Family members said Ms. Saucier has never left home before.
She is retired from Blake High School, but has volun- teered at Trinity Café and the Salvation Army.
Her daughter, Ms. Can- dace Larry said as a teacher, Ms. Saucier was very active with her students. She at- tended their sports events.

DEBORAH WASHINGTON SAUCIER
... Missing since January 8, 2019
“She provided school supplies for those in need from her own personal funds, clothing, sweaters, if the need was there.”
Her last year teaching at Blake High School was 2010. Her daughter further said,
that Ms. Saucier is very cre- ative and possesses a love of decorating homes and arts and crafts. Ms. Saucier was in the process of starting an online business to sell things she has designed and created.
Her family is very con- cerned and they are asking anyone with information per- taining to her whereabouts to contact the Tampa Police De- partment.
A Silver Alert has been is- sued for Ms. Saucier be- cause of her age, and she suffers from medical condi- tions that require medication. She does not have her med- ication with her. Because she doesn’t have her medication and because of her age, she is considered endangered.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Tampa Police Department at (813) 231-6130.
