Meals On Wheels Updates
Thank you Youth! A shout out to the many groups of students who volunteered to deliver meals this past month.
Tampa Prep School’s sen- ior class celebrated Terrapin Day, the School’s Annual Service by delivering 100 meals to our senior and homebound neighbors. The Tampa Prep Seniors also helped put together over 250 volunteer orientation packs! Thank you students for ded- icating your day to serve our community and brightening our seniors and homebound neighbors day!
Thank you to students of St. Lawrence Catholic School, who delivered four routes totaling 40 meals. Your energy and smiles brightened up the day of our seniors and homebound neighbors!
Hillsborough MPO (Metropolitan Planning Organization)
The MPO is hosting a Hillsborough County Human Service Transporta- tion Forum to assist the Hillsborough County MPO’s Transportation Disadvan- taged Coordinating Board in identifying transportation needs in the community. The forum will be held on April 6, 2016 from 1:30-3:30 p. m. at the Robert W. Saun- ders, Sr. Library Community Room #8, 1505 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, 33602.

High School Leadership Board Project Developing
The newly created MOW Tampa High School Leader- ship Board (HSLB) has des- ignated its annual program to be WOW (Water On Wheels).
The Board is currently working to raise the funds to provide reusable water bot- tles with straws, water addi- tives and educational materials on the importance of hydrating to all our 700 recipients! These items will be delivered in May, in con- junction with the Hurricane Prep Pack Program.
Our HSLB is a great group of kids from five different schools: Jesuit High School, Tampa Prep High School, Berkeley Prep High School, H. B. Plant High School and Hillsborough High School.
We appreciate your en- ergy, passion and creativity! More to come on this.

Grub Crawl
First Grub Crawl was a success, held in downtown St. Pete. They raised $4,000 equal to 450 meals. Hosted by QYK 99.5 with Dave and Veronica. It was a sell-out!
