Kyrie Irving’s Ex-Girlfriend Kehlani Tried
‘Personal Health’ Primary Reason For Husain Abdullah’s Retirement
To Commit Suicide Over Cheating
Free-agent safety Husain Abdullah announced Mon- day that he has decided to re- tire, posting on Instagram that his health was the pri- mary deciding factor after suffering five concussions in his seven-year career.
Abdullah thanked the Minnesota Vikings for sign- ing him as an undrafted free agent in 2008 and called his three seasons with the
Kyrie Irving’s girlfriend, R&B singer Kehlani, posted a photo of herself in a hospi- tal bed with the claim she “wanted to leave this Earth” after cheating accusations swirled on Monday, sparking speculation she tried to com- mit suicide.
Hours earlier, Kehlani’s ex-boyfriend, Party Next Door, shared a picture of himself in bed holding a tat- tooed hand with the caption, “After all the shenanigans, still got the R&B singer back in my bed.”
Kehlani responded to the backlash by saying she never cheated and shared

another photo of PND at her bedside in which she credits him for saving her life. She’s since deleted all her Insta- gram posts.

that rapidly. Decency dic- tates hope for Kehlani to get whatever help she needs.
Having said that, it’s yet another layer of drama sur- rounding a Cleveland Cava- liers team which seems to be unable to escape it.
Carmelo Anthony: Kid Running Onto Court ‘Definitely A Security Issue’
CARMELO ANTHONY
NEW ORLEANS — Carmelo Anthony says he was momentarily “shocked” when he felt someone grasping at his thigh as he stood near the top of the key in the final minute of the New York Knicks’ 99-91 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.
When he saw it was a young boy who had somehow slipped through courtside security to give him a hug, his instinct was to react with an affection- ate pat on the head.
“It was a little kid,” An- thony said when explaining his friendly response. “I was shocked. I didn’t really know who was it until I actually looked over and saw that it was a kid.”
The boy ran onto the court during a stoppage in play with the Knicks on their offensive end, and then was shooed back off the court by game of- ficial Kevin Cutler.
The chief of arena security at the Smoothie King Center, Russ Bourgeois, declined to comment on the incident. It was not immediately clear if the boy or his guardian were cited in any way or removed from the building.
When asked Tuesday if he felt like an apology was neces- sary Anthony scoffed at the idea.
“I don’t need an apology. For what? That’s something they got to take care of, look into as far as their security,” Anthony said.

D’Angelo Russell Reportedly Being ‘Isolated’ By Lakers Over Nick Young Video
Bridgestone Invitational
Apart from a chance to savor the final moments of Kobe Bryant’s career, the season can’t end soon enough for the 15-59 Los Angeles Lak- ers.
Now a new issue has re- portedly arisen that has cre- ated the greatest tension yet in the team’s locker room, and rookie D’Angelo Rus- sell, who the team hopes will succeed Bryant as its next superstar, is at the center of the turmoil.
Several days ago, a video was tweeted out by a gossip website that showed Nick Young, who got engaged to pop star Iggy Azalea last year, briefly discussing cheat- ing on Azalea with a pair of women, including model Amber Rose.
At the time, it was rumored that Russell, the No. 2 over- all pick in the 2015 draft, had secretly shot the video, and on Tuesday.

What’s more, according to ESPN, Russell’s teammates are irate about the recording, seeing it as a personal be- trayal, and have responded by “isolating” the first-year guard.
Russell, who spent one season at Ohio State before turning pro and turned 20 in February, has had his level of maturity called into question by Coach Byron Scott. “This was a prank gone wrong,” an anonymous source said.
Not surprisingly, the report of bad blood in the Lakers’ locker room sent the Internet into a frenzy, and sparked more than a few wisecracks.
The foundation of one of basketball’s biggest stars is aligning with one of the world’s biggest golf tourna- ments.
The LeBron James Family Foundation is teaming up with the World Golf Champi- onships-Bridgestone Invita- tional.
Organizers of the Akron event have pledged to give the LJFF $50,000 from the invi- tational’s charity proceeds.
Portions of the funding will also be used to fund educa- tion outings, LJFF leaders

said, along with giving LJFF students chances to “explore the world of golf.”
The Bridgestone Invita- tional will be held from June 27-July 3.
Robert Griffin III Keeps
Familiar Number, Will Wear
Westbrook Ties Michael Jordan For Record With Latest Triple-Double
Robert Griffin III will keep the same number with the Cleveland Browns that he’s worn since college.
Griffin tweeted Tuesday that he would wear No. 10, and thanks teammate Dar- ius Jennings for giving up the number.
Jennings wore 10 in his rookie season. He played in four games, with one start.
Griffin wore 10 with the Washington Redskins, and

with Baylor, where he won the Heisman Trophy wearing that numeral.
Pummeling the Toronto Raptors 119-100 on Monday, the Oklahoma City Thunder picked up their eight straight win, the longest active streak in the league.
Once again the Thunder were led by Kevin Durant (34 points, eight rebounds and eight assists) and Rus- sell Westbrook, who picked up his 16th triple-double of the season, with 26 points (10-of-16 FG), 12 assists, and 11 rebounds in 34 minutes.
Westbrook has been a triple-double machine all sea- son. His 16 triple-doubles are the most in a single season since 27 years ago when Magic Johnson had 17 in the 1988-1989 season, and his performance on Monday put him in the same company as another Hall-of-Famer — Michael Jordan.

In 1989, Jordan recorded seven triple-doubles in the month of April, and in March of this year Westbrook has done the same. Westbrook has two more chances to break Jordan’s record if he is able to pick up another triple-double against the Clip- pers on Tuesday or vs. the Pistons on Thursday. Also his next triple-double would tie him with Magic for the most triple-doubles (17) in a single season.

Russell Wilson has been seen everywhere with his fi- ancée, Ciara lately.
But the latest sighting of the star couple is definitely the cutest.
