Rick Ross Says 50 Cents’ Lawsuit Is ‘Revenge’
Snoop Dogg Leveraging To Save Roscoe’s
Chicken And Waffles
Snoop Dogg is apparently pulling all of his strings in an effort to save the iconic L.A. restaurant Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles.
Earlier this month, the par- ent company to the beloved eatery filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, claiming the com- pany is in debt somewhere be- tween $10 and $50 million. Uncle Snoop, who is one of the many fans of the chicken spot was not down for this though. In a short video, Snoop expressed his aston- ishment and concern for the downfall of the L.A. joint. But not to fear: Snoop has plans
It seems that Travis Scott recruited an unexpected source to reveal some music updates coming in the near fu- ture. Music industry mogul, Lyor Cohen jumped on SnapChat Wednesday (Mar. 30), to tease an upcoming project from Travis Scott and Young Thug.
According to Cohen, he was in the studio with the Houston native last week and the “Ma- macita” rappers have a track ready to drop “in the next few days.” The news is following the release of Young Thug’s Slime Season 3. Travis Scott also has his album, Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight, com- ing out very soon, which
Brandy has filed a lawsuit against her record label Chameleon Entertainment Group, claiming execs have blocked her from recording new music.
The singer and star of BET’s “Zoe Ever After” hasn’t re- leased a new album since 2012’s “Two Eleven.”
According to the Rolling Stone, Brandy filed the suit on Tuesday, claiming that her deal with Chameleon gave the label the option of releasing four more albums, but alleging that they have kept her from recording new material in the last four years.
She also claims that the label’s refusal to let her record music is in an attempt to get

to get the restaurant back on its feet. “Well, I guess I have to buy it and make it Snoop’s Chicken and Waffles,” he said.
RICK ROSS
According to the jasmine- brand, Rick Ross has returned to court blasting his arch-enemy 50 Cent in the $2 million dol- lar legal battle. Ross says 50 is filing the lawsuit as revenge — and is demanding the judge throw out the case. (Rick Ross’ baby mama sued 50 Cents for releasing a sex tape of her. She won the case).
Last year, 50 (aka Curtis Jackson) filed suit against Rick Ross (aka William Leonard Roberts II) – in his bankruptcy case – accusing him of illegally using his name and voice to promote his new album.
50 Cent explained he has used his stage name since early 1999 and was issued a trade- mark for the mark in connection with the entertainment industry in 2004. However, he claimed that Rick Ross began promot- ing and advertising his new album, Black Market” in No- vember 2015 and released a mixtape online that illegally uses his hit song “In Da Club” and even listed the song as ‘fea- turing’ 50 Cent on the album.
50 accused Ross of using his name to drum up publicity for his new album, despite not hav- ing permission or paying him a dime to use “In Da Club”. The rapper filed suit demanding in excess of $2 million dollars and an injunction against Rick Ross from continuing to dis- tribute the infringing track.

Lil Jon is accused of refus- ing to pay his back taxes to the tune of $160K and now the State of Georgia is coming after the rapper’s property and assets to collect on the cash.
According to Fulton County records, the Georgia Depart- ment of Revenue accuses Lil Jon of owing them back taxes for the year 2007.
The original tax debt was $68,406 owed to the state, but with collection fees ($26K), in- terest ($64K) and other costs the amount has swelled to $159,798.54.

Tyler Perry Snags Drama Series On TLC Network
Tyler Perry continues to build his empire. The 46-year- old director/actor/mogul has snagged a new scripted series on the TLC network.
The series will be a drama about a woman involved in a political sex scandal. The lead character is a successful woman from Washington forced to return to her modest beginnings after her affair with a married senator becomes public. The eight-episode se- ries, has tentatively been titled “Too Close to Home”, airing this summer.
Perry’s successful series on OWN, including “Love Thy Neighbor” and “For Better or Worse,” helped turn around the Oprah Winfrey Network.
