Mr. Ulysses “Cap” John- son, a retired professional truck driver, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, after a lengthy illness.
A memorial service will be held for Mr. Ulysses “Cap” Johnson on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 2 p. m. at Living Faith Assembly Of God, located at 5500 E. Sligh Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33617.

On this day, 9 years ago, you celebrated your 84th birthday with us. Little did we know it would be your last. God had pre- pared your transition to your heavenly home on the following day. Today, you are celebrating with the Lord.

Funeral services for Mrs. Arvella Bessie Best, who passed away peacefully Sat- urday, March 26, 2016 after a long illness, will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11 a. m. at Tampa First Seventh Day Adventist Church, 822 W. Linebaugh Ave., Tampa, 33612, Pastor Ezra J. Mend- inghall, Sr., eulogist, with Pastor Antwoyn Mells, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Best was born Sep- tember 20, 1922 in Horry, South Carolina. She was the last and only surviving child of Henry D. and Zilpha Ida Bullock.
She had been a long-time resident of Tampa, where she raised her family alone after the death of her hus- band.
She was a longtime and faithful member of the West- side Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by: her husband Robert E. Best, Jr.; 3 stepchildren, Shirley Ann Williams, Alice Faye Lynwood and William Henry Best; 4 grandchildren, Keith Reche Best, Eric An- thony ‘Fats’ Best, Sheila Renee Bullock and Eric Jerome Harvis; and grand- son-in-law, Michael Lee Lit- tle.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 6 daughters, Myrtle Blue, Brenda Gardin, Ophe- lia Best, Cardelia Viverette and Renee Best, all of Tampa, and Veronica Williams of Katy, Texas; god- daughter, Ethel Ward (Irvin) of Tampa; stepdaughter, Betty Harvis of Oakland, CA; 30 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren, and 28 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Viewing will be one hour prior to service (10-11 a. m.).

SISTER JACQUELYN ANN MORGAN
Homegoing celebration for Sister Jacquelyn Ann Morgan, who passed away March 25, 2016, will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11 a. m. at First Union Mission- ary Baptist Church, 3707 E. Chelsea, Tampa, 33610, with Rev. B. E. Garmon, Sr., offi- ciating. Interment will fol- lowing in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jacquelyn Ann Morgan was born in Horence, South Carolina, on June 4, 1942, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Hunter. Jacquelyn was a very loving and caring per- son, and truly loved her fam- ily dearly, and always had a smile on her face. She also loved her church family.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Ophelia Hunter; father, Eddie Hunter, Sr.; husband, Willie C. Morgan; and sister, San- dra Hunter.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: daughter, Jennifer James McCarr (Sheldon McCarr); sisters, Carolyn Hunter, Gwendolyn Carlton (Edward Carlton), and Pastor Cathy Hunter; brothers, Willie W. Williams and Eddie Hunter, Jr. (Gwendolyn Hunter); grand- children, Kesha McCarr Jar- mon (Shane Jarmon), Tiffany Watson (Kevin Wat- son), and Keith McCarr (Talia McCarr); great grand- children, Kaleb, Kayma, Eli- jah, Kevin, Kason and Trinity; nieces and nephews, Derrick, Gerald, Chyrell, An- tonio, Kenyon, Charise, Lawanda, Wesley, Wendy and Chad; a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends; and caregiver, Yvonne Sanders and family.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p. m., Friday, April 1, 2016 at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, 33610.
The processional will as- semble at the Church on Sat- urday at 10:45 a. m.
