Michelle Obama Accidentally Tweets
First Woman White House Chief Usher Fired By Trump
Phone Number Of Former Strategist To 7.6M
On Friday, Michelle Obama’s Twitter account ac- cidentally tweeted out a phone number belonging to a former White House staffer to all 7.67 million of her followers.
Duncan Wolfe, a former White House creative digital strategist, was flooded with phone calls, and any calls to the posted number were met with an “I’m not available right now” message as well as a noti- fication that the mailbox was full.
Former first lady Michelle Obama accidentally sent photo of for- mer strategist, Duncan Wolfe via tweet.
The Trump administration has fired the White House chief usher — the first woman and second African-American to hold the nonpartisan position, according to a report.
The White House residence staff was told Friday morning that Angella Reid, appointed in 2011 by President Obama, had been canned, without of- fering an explanation.
“We are very grateful for her service and wish her the very best,” a White House official confirmed, declining to provide details.
Reid was only the third usher to be booted in more than a century.
White House ushers are on duty 24/7, taking care of the first family’s needs and over- seeing the staff, including chefs, florists, maids, butlers, chefs, carpenters and other
According to an official who works for the Obama family, the tweet was sent out acciden-
tally, and the former First Lady’s account was not, in fact, hacked.
Republicans Who Repealed Healthcare Afraid
To Face The People Who Put Them In Office
House Speaker Paul Ryan finally passed the health care bill he and Donald Trump have been pushing for weeks, after backroom deals with the Freedom Caucus and a series of amendments that only made it worse. It now heads to the Senate.
The repeal bill, which Re- publicans call the American Health Care Act:
•Kicks over 24 million people off their health insurance.
•It guts protections for people with pre-existing conditions, including patients with cancer, diabetes, asthma, postpartum depression, even victims of rape and domestic violence. •It weakens state insurance regulations on employer plans. •It cuts $800 billion from Medicaid and bans Medicaid recipients from getting care at Planned Parenthood.
•It even defunds services for

•And for good measure, it in- cludes a $600 billion tax cut for the rich.
All told, this bill is one of the most breathtakingly evil pieces of legislation in living memory.
And yet Republicans rushed it through without reading it, understanding it, or waiting for the Congressional Budget Of- fice to analyze it. And sadly, to get a win, they celebrated its
passage.
While House Republicans
cheered and slapped them- selves on the back Thursday, however, they seem much less confident talking about it with their constituents.
As of Friday, according to Town Hall Project, fewer than a dozen of the 217 representa- tives who voted to wreck health care for the American people have scheduled town hall meetings.
Senate Will Not Vote On House’s Repeal And Replace; Plan To Create Own Bill
Senate Republicans said Thursday they won't vote on the House-passed bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, but will write their own legislation instead.
Even as the ink (and beer) dried on the House Republi- cans’ destructive and unpopu- lar healthcare repeal plan, Republicans in the Senate
began plotting a way to shine it up enough to get it past fifty votes, let alone sixty.
Their first questionable step was to announce a working group composed entirely of White men, to the exclusion even of the five Republican women currently serving in the U.S. Senate.
Senator Dianne Fein-
stein (D-CA) called out Re- publicans for excluding women from a group that will be mak- ing health care decisions that particularly impact women, telling Meet the Press guest host Andrea Mitchell that repeal would have to come off of the table in order for De- mocrats to consider supporting any bill.
Donald Trump and his ad- ministration have yet to ac- knowledge the sacrifice of Senior Chief Special War- fare Operator Kyle Mil- liken, a 38-year-old Navy SEAL who was killed in action Thursday while repelling an at- tack by al-Shabab fighters. Two other U.S. service members were wounded in the attack.
Some reports say President Trump was playing golf.
Chief Milliken is the first U.S. casualty in Somalia since the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu, yet when the press asked about the tragedy on Friday, Deputy White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders seemed to be caught flat- footed.
Wall Street Journal White House Correspondent Carol Lee asked Sanders if the White House had any com-
ment, and while Sanders in- sisted that Trump was “briefed” on the issue, she ap- peared to be winging her an- swer, calling the slain sailor a “soldier,” bragging about de- fense spending, and repeatedly expressing appreciation for “all” military service members.
Rear Adm. Timothy Syz- manksi, the commander of the Naval Special Warfare Command, said Milliken "em- bodied the warrior spirit and toughness" that represent the Navy SEALS. Milliken was also a member of SEAL Team Six, the elite unit credited with killing Osama bin Laden in 2011, and he earned four Bronze Stars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"We grieve his death, but we celebrate his life and many ac- complishments," Syzmanksi said in a statement.
