MRS. LARVELL HALL CARTER
Mrs. Larvell Hall Carter passed peacefully on No- vember 27, 2017 in Tampa, Florida at the age of 84. Home- going celebration will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, Dr. Evan S. Burrows, Senior Pastor, with Pastor Michael Neely, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by: devoted husband, Thomas Carter; daughter, Jean H. Carter;
granddaughter, Shannon L. Legrand; sisters, Jean Butler (St. Petersburg, FL), Lavern Riley (Valdosta, GA) and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Larvell was born on Febru- ary 18, 1933 in Lowndes County, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. James and Coreatha Hall. She gradu- ated from Lakeland High School in Lakeland, Georgia and briefly attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia.
She married Thomas Carter in 1953. A few years later she gave birth to their only child, Jean, and the family moved to Tampa, FL in 1959. Mrs. Carter worked various jobs throughout the years, but loved her job as a Cafeteria Worker at Philip Shore Elementary School, where she worked for many years until her retirement in 1996.
Larvell was an amazing woman, who excelled at cooking and appreciating beauty. She was a lady of style who loved shopping and a great out- fit. She was caring, generous and passionate about her family and loved ones.
She loved the Lord and was an active and dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Col- lege Hill for more than 40 years and New Millennium Commu- nity Church for over 10 years.
THERE WILL BE NO VIEW- ING. Friends are asked to as- semble at the church on Saturday at approximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MS. PATRICIA M. HILL
Ms. Patricia M. Hill of Tampa passed away quietly Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, December 9 at 11 a. m. at Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street with Reverend Gregory V. Gay, Sr., Pastor, officiating.
Ms. Patricia M. Hill was a na- tive and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. She was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 1980. She furthered her education at Hills- borough Community College.
Patricia was a member of Mount Olive A. M. E. Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Gregory V. Gay, Sr. She served on the Usher Board, was a Sunday School teacher and most of all she loved the Lord.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Jessie and Ethel Hill; two sisters, Georgia Mae Allen and Betty Jewel Morgan; two brothers, James Earl Hill and Charlie Howard Hill; beloved family members, George Knight (Marvie), Ruth Knight, as well as uncle, A. C. Knight (Mary Liza) and brother- in-law, Russell Albury.
Survivors left to cherish lov- ing and fond memories are: her brothers, James Lester Hill, Thomas Hill (Faye) and Jessie Edward Hill (Alicia); sisters, Annie Ruby Albury, Merry Givens (Tony) and Darlene Slay- ton (Terry); sister-in-law, Chris- tine Hill; aunt, Willie Myrl Wright; brother-in-law, Robert Allen; uncle, Johnny Fred Knight of Montgomery, AL, other family members of Eu- faula, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other rel- atives as well as friends and church family of Mt. Olive AME Church.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, December 8th, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

Mr. Reginald Reeves Tampa passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, December 9th, at 11 a. m. at The Center For Manifesta- tion, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Apostle Mark Jones, Pastor; Reverend Dr. Julia McMillan, Pastor of New Dawn Restora- tion Center, Presiding and Pas- tor Tony Tate, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Reginald D. Reeves was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. He enlisted into the United States Army and served until Honorably Dis- charges. Mr. Reeves was a member of New Dawn Restora- tion and was employed as a Car- penter for Delotto Construction Company.
He was preceded in death by: his brother, Wayne Reaves. He leaves to cherish his
memory in the hearts of: a de- voted and loving wife, Debra Reeves; a loving daughter, Bre- ana Reeves; three sons, Bran- don Howard, John Royster, Jr. and Eric Royster; five grand- children, Kymani Thomas, Ja’Niyah Royster, Jaylen Roys- ter, John Royster, III, and Eyanna Royster; loving and de- voted parents, Wayne and Jer- lean Reaves; siblings, Machelle Crowley and husband, Marcus, Alton Limehouse, Sr., Michael Reaves and wife, LaQuina and Maurice Reaves and wife, Dovey; nieces, Toushana Gard- ner, Shameka Sloan, Khome- que Thompson, Myesha Hudson, Zipporah Reaves, Re- bekah Reaves, Seraiah Reaves and Imani Reaves; two nephews, Alton Limehouse, Jr. and Van Franklin, Jr.; devoted in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel and Lessie Howard; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.

MR. REGINALD REEVES
DEACON MICHAEL HANKERSON, SR.
Homegoing Celebration for Deacon Michael Hankerson, Sr. will be held on Saturday, De- cember 9, 2017 at 1 p. m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Vil- lage, 8722 Progress Blvd., Tampa, Florida, Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pas- tor, officiating, with Executive Pastor Todd Hammond, Eulo- gist. Interment will follow in New St. Mary A. M. E. Church Cemetery, 1013 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., Mango, FL.
Michael peacefully an- swered the call of his loving Sav- ior as he departed this earthly life on Thursday, November 30, 2017. He is now resting at peace in the bosom of Jesus; free of all sickness, pain and sorrows.
Michael leaves to cherish precious memories with: his beloved wife, Claudette; son, Michael Hankerson, Jr.; grand- son, Michael Hankerson, III; great grandson, Michael Han- kerson, IV; sisters, Victoria and husband, Rev. Dr. C. T. Kirk- land, Helen Hankerson, Debra and husband, Min. Eddie Reid, Jr.; brothers, Jimmie, Robert, and Kenneth Hankerson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Michael Hankerson was born February 1, 1945 in Seffner, FL to the parentage of the late Jimmie and Helen Han- kerson. Michael was educated in the public schools of Hills- borough County.
Michael accepted Christ while living in Detroit, Michi- gan. He was a member of Leland M. B. Church, Rev. Dr. Eugene Rhodes, Pastor. He was a Church Trustee and later be- came an Ordained Deacon.
Upon retirement from Chrysler Automotive in 2000, he returned to Florida. Upon his return to Florida he became a member of The First Baptist Church of Progress Village under the pastorate of Dr. Sam Maxwell. Michael was an Or- dained Deacon and an active member of the First Family, where he shared his gifts of pho- tography in the Audio-Visual Ministry.
He played a vital part in min- istering to the sick and shut-ins by providing CDs and DVDs of the worship services on a weekly basis until his own health began to fail. He also at- tended Sunday Morning Bible Study.
There will be a viewing on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 5 – 8 p. m. with the family pres- ent to receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m. in the chapel. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approximately 12:45 p. m. for the service.

MRS. DORISTINE MANDEN
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Doristine Manden, who entered eternal rest on Novem- ber 24, 2017, will be held on Sat- urday, December 9, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Cathedral of Faith Church, 6304 N. 30th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Archbishop Apos- tle James H. Howell, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Doristine was born on Feb- ruary 12, 1956 in Greenville, Mis- sissippi. She relocated to Tampa where she got married and had 5 children. She was a devout Christian.
A viewing will be held on Fri- day, December 8, 2017 from 5 – 7 p. m. at Cathedral of Faith. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap- proximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.
