‘Hidden Figures’ Moved Up To December 25th Release Date
Kendrick Lamar Made About $3M On Features
Dr. Dre Fans Talk About Boycott After Seeing Michel’le’s Biopic
Kendrick Lamar with Beyonce in ‘Formation’.
Rumor has it that Ken- drick Lamar charges $250K a feature. With this said this pretty much means he had a good 2016.
After all he was featured on“Freedom”, “New Cupid”, “Survive”, “That Part”, “Pat’s Wrong”, “Holy Key”, “The Greatest”, “Really Doe”,
New details are emerging about the untimely death of rapper, Shawty Lo, and they aren’t sounding too good.
Shawty Lo reportedly reeked of alcohol and had pills on him when he died. That’s not all.
According to TMZ, the two women who survived the acci- dent took money out of his pockets after he was dead, leaving only $16.
Deshondria Miller and Destini Carter (the women in question) allegedly asked a police officer if they could take cash out of Shawty Lo’s
“Goosebumps”, “God is Fair, Sex Nasty” and more.
With this said he’s been busy and he basically may have made over $3 million on fea- tures alone.
Well we are sure that K. Dot probably didn’t charge each artist $250K, butttttt 2016 was certainly good to him!

pockets, and the cop allegedly let them do it.
Janelle Monae, Taraji Henson and Octavia Spencer star in ‘Hidden Figures’.
Dr. Dre and Michel’le have a son together.
Originally scheduled for a January 13, 2017 release, Fox has moved up the opening date for “Hidden Figures” to December 25, giving it an ini- tial limited theatrical release (we assume an Oscar-qualify- ing run), before a January 6, 2017 nationwide roll-out. So we can officially add the film to our 2017 Oscar potentials.
Given all the marketing ma- terials we’ve seen thus far for the film, presenting it as a rel- atively innocuous, uplifting family dramedy, a release date during the holidays makes sense.
December is a crowded
month; there’s also Will Smith’s “Collateral Beauty,” and Denzel Washington’s “Fences.” These are all films opening wide. We can now add “Hidden Figures” into the mix (although a limited release to start).
Director Ted Melfi’s “Hid- den Figures,” the much-antic- ipated feature film adaptation of Margot Lee Shetterly’s book of the same name tells the untold true story of some of the African American women mathematicians who worked at NASA during the Civil Rights era.

Snoop Dogg Gives ‘Greatest Hits’ Show During Birthday Celebration; Trailer Of Cooking Show Launched
Dr. Dre had a pretty bad week as details surrounding his abuse towards Michel’le have resurfaced with the release of her biopic, ‘Surviving Comp- ton’.
Former Dre fans are horri- fied and outraged and have ap- parently threatened to boycott the Hip Hop mogul’s ‘Beats By Dre’ headphones due to his portrayal in the television movie.
The movie chronicle Michel’le’s abuse at the hands of the legendary producer and rapper more than her own mu- sical career.
Dre’s character is seen punching Michel’le continu- ously and even pulling a gun on the singer.
Dre has threatened to take legal action against Sony Pic- tures for his portrayal, but Michel’le dares him to do so, as she says there were wit- nesses to the abuse.
Michel’le says the opportu- nity to do a biopic came once she was omitted out of the film ‘Straight Outta Compton’.
Fans have pointed out that both films depict two totally different Dr. Dre’s.

Legendary rap artist, entre- preneur and TV personality, Snoop Dogg, real name Cor- dozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. (born October 20, 1971) kicked off his Birthday festivities with an exclusive show in Holly- wood.
The “Doggfather” per- formed a medley of his great- est hits from his first iconic album Doggystyle through his current critically acclaimed album Coolaid, with live band 1500 or Nothin, to a packed house at the famous SIR Stu- dios on Sunset Boulevard.
A bevy of industry tastemak- ers and celebrity guests in- cluding Chris Brown, Ray J, Omar Gooding, An- thony Anderson, Big Percy and more were spotted
partying it up.
The event was exclusively
live streamed on AMAZON’s FireTV and marked the official launch of the new AMAZON- partnered network DECTV.TV.
VH1 is launching an un- scripted series starring Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart and the first trailer for "Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party" has been re- vealed.
As far as guest appearances, we know they'll be having a slumber party with DJ Khaled and Robin Thicke at some point, and Bella Thorne and 50 Cent will be dropping in at another. The show will air on November 7th.
