  New Edition Reunion Tour Cancelled
Nigerian Senator Offers
Michael Bivins has deliv- ered some bad news for fans of New Edition and the status of their reunion tour.
Recently, there was specula- tion that there was tension with the group. And now, Bivins has confirmed it but says he has plans to work on their issues.
Bivins announced in March 2017 that New Edition was going on tour with the cast of BET’s “The New Edition Story”. In an Instagram post on May 2, Bivins explained some of the reasons why the New Edition reunion tour isn’t going down as planned.
“I know yall need answers on why ish is not going down,” he

Kanye West’s controversial comments have led to major backlash.
Kanye has single-handedly become the topic of interest (or hate) among not only the hip- hop community but society as a whole.
With his erratic tweets and controversial stances with President Trump, Ye con- tinues to lose fans at an expo- nential rate.
Now, early Saturday morn- ing at 9 a.m. sharp, Kanye’s most recent collaboration with Australian sportswear brand 2XU went on sale.
The result? An empty flag- ship store on Oxford St., Paddington.
Past track records have shown that any type of product launch with Kanye’s highly- coveted Yeezy brand is met with undivided attention and hoards of hypebeast fashion- lovers.
Unfortunately, the YEEZY x 2XU Season 6 capsule was met with the opposite: silence.

Kanye West made head- lines almost every day since his return to Twitter in April for his divisive comments on poli- tics and slavery.
During a controversial ap- pearance on TMZ Live, West referred to slavery as “a choice.” The father-of-three ut- tered this sentiment to pre- sumably thousands of viewers, stating, “When you hear about slavery for 400 years....that sounds like a choice.” Natu- rally, the Chicago native’s com- ments drew backlash from the masses.
Now, another figure is step- ping in to right West’s wrongs. According to CNN, Nigeria’s Senator Shehu Sani extended an invitation to West to visit the slave ports that are still located and pre- served in West Africa. Coun- tries like Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, plus nations like Re- public of Benin provide tours of these ports.
“If Kanye West thinks slav- ery was a choice, we will offer him a free ticket and tour guide to visit slave routes and camps in Badagry, Lagos, Ouida, Benin Republic, Ghana and Goree Island in Senegal to ‘ex- perience the choices in chains,’” Shehu wrote on Twitter. “Kanye defecated on the graves of victims.”

On Feb. 16, the U. S. was in- troduced to actor Winston Duke, best known for his role as M’Baku in the blockbuster movie Black Panther. Immedi- ately, moviegoers – specifically women – were captivated by the Tobagonian’s stature and took to social media to express their attraction.
This wave of affection didn’t go unnoticed. According to Newsweek, Duke was blown away by the outpour of kind affirmations and thanked women of “all different cul- tures” for his newfound out- look on his physical appearance – black women in particular received most of the credit.
“At the end of the day, it’s been women from all over the world and all different cul- tures, but it was really started and driven by black women and I want to thank them for that,” the 6’4” actor said. “
