Grand Re-Opening Of The Lee Davis Community Resource Center And Queen Miller Suite
The grand re-opening and of the Lee Davis Community Resource Center and Queen R. Miller Suite, was held on October 2, 2017. Hillsborough County leaders hosted the event.
The center, located at 3402 N. 22nd Street, is modernized for improved functionality, safety, and cleanliness, and now houses several County department serv- ices and programs, including Aging Services, Health Care Services, Head Start, Library Services, and Social Services.
Additionally, there are two on-site community partners: Derrick Brooks Charities and the Sickle Cell Association of Hillsborough County. (Photos by Freder- ick Harris)
    Hillsborough County staffers and officials joined the family members of (the late) Lee Davis and Mrs. Queen Richardson Miller, center, for the rib- bon cutting.
County Commissioner Les Miller, right, presented a proclamation to Dr. Jacquelyn Jenkins, Director of Head Start, one of the programs housed in the center.
One of the program participants was Hillsborough County’s Carl Har- ness, Chief Human Services Admin- istrator.
