Kyrie Irving Fined For NBA Fan Spat
LEBRON JAMES AND KYRIE IRVING
Kyrie Irving is off to a rocky start with the Boston Celtics after the league slapped the point guard with a $25,000 fine on Sunday for verbally abusing a Philadelphia 76ers fan.
The fan reportedly yelled "Kyrie, where's LeBron" - a reference to Irving's former Cleveland teammate LeBron James - as the Celtics walked past, drawing a response from Irving. Irving admitted he yelled at the fan, which was caught on video, but when asked by ESPN.com if he had any regrets said, "Hell no".
Earl Watson Reportedly Fired By Phoenix Suns
EARL WATSON
Earl Watson has been fired as head coach of the Phoenix Suns just three games into the season, according to a report.
The Suns are 0-3 following a blowout loss to the Clippers on Saturday night. They have the day off Sunday before host- ing the Kings on Monday night.
Watson took over the Suns two seasons ago as an in- terim coach replacing Jeff Hornacek. He went 9-24 as an interim coach, then 24-58 as the coach for the full season last year. His team was 0-3 this season. Jay Triano is report- edly expected to take over on an interim basis.
The Suns have been unable to find success since firing Mike D’Antoni after the ’07- ’08 season. They’ve only had two winning seasons since then, made the playoffs just once, and have had five head coaches (when you include in- terim coaches).

Doug Baldwin Shoves Line
Coach Tom Cable On Sidelines
Doug Baldwin was seen shoving Seattle Seahawks of- fensive line coach Tom Cable on the sidelines during Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.
The Seahawks were strug- gling early in the game and getting shutout for most of the first half. The team was plagued by drops in the pass- ing game and didn’t get their first points until a minute be- fore halftime.
At one point some offen- sive players gathered and cir- cled around Cable, with Baldwin getting physical with his coach.
DOUG BALDWIN
Just based on the video, it seemed more like Baldwin was trying to push his coach out of the way so he could talk rather than pushing him be- cause he was upset with the coach.
The two apparently later made up.
Curry Claims He Didn't
Throw Mouthguard At Ref:
'I've Got A Pretty Good Aim'
STEPH CURRY
Just before the Warriors officially lost the game in Memphis on Saturday night, their superstar point guard lost his cool.
After not getting a foul call with 43 seconds left in the game, Steph Curry chucked his mouthguard in the direc- tion of referee Scott Wall in a fit of rage reminiscent of Game 6 of the 2016 NBA Finals.
Wall immediately ejected Curry, who continued to argue with the officials.
After the game, Curry wanted to make it clear he wasn't trying to hit Wall with his mouthguard.
"If I tried to throw it at him and hit him, I've got a pretty good aim," Curry told re- porters after the game. "I've thrown my mouthpiece plenty of times and thrown it on the floor. Probably not the best thing to do, but I've done it. I own up to it.
"If I was trying to throw it at him or hit him, I would have been able to execute that."
Now Curry and the War- riors wait to see if the NBA will suspend or fine him. He has an expectation of what the pun- ishment will be.
