Gucci Mane’s Brother And Mother Not Invited To Million+ $$$ Wedding
Gucci Mane (Radric Davis) and Keyshia Ka’oir got married last week live on BET, however Gucci’s brother, Nate and mom, Vicky Davis were not invited.
The “Young and The Rest- less” star, Kristoff St. John was hospitalized and placed under psychiatric evaluation after allegedly threatening to kill himself with a gun.
Law enforcement sources say the actor’s ex-wife, Mia, called police Thursday evening and told them St. John had been sending her photos show- ing him holding a gun to his head.
When cops arrived, they confiscated 2 guns and placed
St. John under a 72-hour hold for mental evaluation.
Sources close to the soap star say the 3-year anniversary of his son Julian’s suicide is fast approaching (November 23) and that may have affected him negatively.
Julian St. John reportedly suffered from mental illness for much of his life. According to The Huffington Post, he had been prone to bouts of serious depression and had been homeless for a period of time.
On Oct. 17, Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir made it official and got married in a lavish all-white ceremony. The star-studded event was tele- vised on BET, and ushered in a celebrity guest list, but a cou- ple of people who share the same blood as Gucci were left out of the festivity.
The rapper’s brother, Nate, said his invitation along with their mother’s got lost in the mail.
“He didn’t let me go to the wedding, but I’m happy for
him,” Nate said. “He went through hell to get to where he’s at. Me and my mom did- n’t go. That’s just another chapter we have to close in our life.”
On the subject of their mother, Vicky, and her not being able to witness the Wop- sters’ holy matrimony, Nate said it would’ve been an unfor- gettable spectacle if she were present.
“I feel real bad Ra[dric] didn’t invite me to his wed- ding. I really wanted to be
there for him. Just as a brother standpoint. Just to support you, guide you, however you need me to. Just as a brother. You know, I am my brother’s keeper. For me not to be in- vited, I don’t know how to feel. I thought I knowed you, But I don’t even know you.”
Nate added: “It’s hard be- cause, I don’t know, she don’t know. Left us in...ghost.”
Gucci doesn’t seem to be mad at his entire family be- cause, one of his other broth- ers served as his best man.
Russell Simmons Developing Movie About
Hip Hop Legend T La Rock
Russell Simmons is developing film about life of hip hop leg- end T La Rock who was brutally beaten during the height of his career and his coming back from a coma and memory loss.
Def Jam co-founder Rus- sell Simmons and 20th Century Fox are developing a film about the life of Hip Hop legend T La Rock, accord- ing to the Hollywood Re- porter.
The movie is based on
Joshuah Bearman’s GQ article “The Man Who Forgot He Was a Rap Legend,” which tells the story of the MC’s recovery from a brutal attack that left him in a coma.
“T La Rock has always been an inspiration to me
and many in the Hip Hop community,” Simmons said in a statement. “This is a man who was literally beaten to within an inch of his life at the height of his fame.
How he regained his mem- ory and recovered from his coma while being cared for and surrounded by the most unlikely group of therapists and friends is the kind of hope-filled and hopeful true story that will appeal to everyone, whether you love rap music or not.”
