MR. MARCUS ALI BOWDEN
Funeral service for Mr. Mar- cus Ali Bowden, who passed away on August 31, 2018, will be held on Saturday September 15, 2018, at 10 a. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, with Pastor John H. Jerelds, officiating of Reborn Christian Fellowship Center.
Marcus Ali Bowden was born on March 11, 1977 in Tampa, Florida, to Anthony Bowden and Ethel Rene Palmore. He attended the local schools in Hillsborough County.
Marcus leaves cherished memories with: mother, Ethel Rene Palmore; father, Anthony Bowden; sisters, LaToya Bowden Hairston (Walter), LaTasha Pal- more and Lavon Green; brother, Anthony Brian Bowden; nephews, Joe Frazier, BJ Bow- den, Xavier Frazier, Keyshawn James and Dayjon Clarke; nieces, Rekayial Bowden Crum (Herib- erto), Akeria Bowden, Tatyana Wright, Janay Frazier and Jas- mine Palmore; and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, September 14, 2018, from 5 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home.

MRS. LAVERN B. MCNEAL
Mrs. Lavern B. McNeal of Tampa passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018.
Funeral Services will be con- ducted today, Friday, September 14 at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Me- morial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Lavern Burney McNeal was a native of Birmingham, Al- abama and a resident of Tampa for many years. She was edu- cated in the Jefferson County Public School System for a short period of time, until relocating to Tampa, Florida with her mother, where she graduated from Robinson High School with honors.
Lavern was employed at Me- morial Hospital for more than 12 years as a Certified Nursing As- sistant. She later became self- employed as a Home Health Care Provider.
Lavern was a special person who gave of herself wholly and to anyone that came in contact with her.
Mrs. McNeal was preceded in death by: her mother, Margaret Jones and grandmother, Mary Carter.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a very special friend, whom she considered as a very, very dear adopted family mem- ber, Dr. Margaret Fisher, Tampa, FL; brother, Michael Jones; two aunts, Mrs. Mary Ann (Arteris) Pittman, and Mrs Alma (Donald) Wilson; 4 uncles, Mr. James Mathis of Tampa, FL, Mr. Johnny Orum of Detroit, MI, Mr. Edward (Brenda) Mathis of Birmingham, AL and Mr. Fred- die (Patsy) Mathis of White Plains, MD; special nieces that were dear to her heart, Mrs. Sharon and Patrick Watson; Toniette and Cedric Wilson and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Ms. Williams was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Barbara J. Williams; grand- mother, Evelyn Randall; grand- father, John Randall, Sr.; uncles, Reginald Preston and Alexander Randall.
She leaves to cherish loving memories of her with: two daughters, Christian Martin (Andre Arenas) and Lyntayvia Chambers; grandson, Ahmari Arenas; mother, Veronica Ran- dall; father, Elder Curtis G. Williams, Sr. and wife; grandfa- ther, Grady Williams, Sr. and wife; brothers, Curtis G. Williams, Jr., Titus Williams and wife, Samuel M. Williams and wife, and Chris Johnson; a dedicated godmother, Roxanne Cann; dedicated friend, Volanda Rucker; a host of un- cles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Ms. Evelyn C. Williams was born on January 12, 1983 in Tampa, Florida to the parent- age of Elder Curtis G. Williams, Sr. and Veronica Randall.
She attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School.
Ms. Williams was a faithful member of Joyful Noise Holi- ness Tabernacle of Jesus Christ Church. She worked for many years at Certified Springs Trucking Company and also at HSBC.
There will be a viewing on Friday September 14, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, from5–8p.m.

Homegoing service for Mrs. Leila Mae “Nana” Preston, who passed away on September 1, 2018, will be held on Saturday September 15, 2018, at 11 a. m. at St. John Progressive Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 2504 E. Chipco Street, Tampa, with Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Roy E. Pre- ston; her parents, Deacon Eu- gene Norris, Sr. and Ida Freeman Norris; siblings, Willie James Freeman, Sr., Eu- gene Norris, Jr. and Catherine Carnegie.
Mrs. Preston was a devoted mother and a true friend.
She leaves to cherish many fond memories with: 4 chil- dren, Alva Bailey Billups, Bev- erly Bailey, Lewis Bailey, III (Eva), and Deborah Bailey Hodo (Willie Alvin); 6 grand- children, Jennifer Billups Boston (Milton), Tiffany Billups Price (Hampton), Alex Hodo, Sr. (Shauntillia), Aleisha Hodo, Petra Labreisova and Tadeas Labreis; 6 great-grand- children, Christian Price, Alvin Boston Hodo, Jr., Brianna Terry, Caleb Price, Mia Terry and Alex Hodo, Jr.; siblings, Harold Norris, Juanita Banks and Saul Norris, Sr.; god- daughter, Mamie Fells; a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends who will surely miss her.
Leila was born in Macon, Georgia on January 16, 1930 to the parentage of Deacon Eu- gene Norris, Sr. and Ida Free- man Norris. Mrs. Preston moved to Tampa at the age of eight. She was baptized at an early age at Beulah
Baptist Church. She at- tended Dobyville Elementary and Don Thompson High School.
Mrs. Preston retired from St. Joseph Hospital after 21 years of service. She special- ized in Labor and Delivery and the New Born Nursery.
There will be a viewing on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, from 5 – 8 p. m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m.
