Football Is Molding Young Minds
 BY THE JOURNALISM STUDENTS AT BIBLE TRUTH MINISTRIES Suzette Dean, Principal
Eighteen-year-old Hills- borough High School senior, J. T. Brown stems from a humble family with resi- dence in the Seminole Heights, Tampa bay area.
At a young age he began his football journey. J. T. played for the little league team, “The Tampa Bay Area Raiders” in the positions of: quarterback, linebacker, de- fender, and running back.
Brown’s early inspira- tion came from his older cousins. His initial exposure advanced him to the Hills- borough Terriers. He cur- rently represents his team as a defensive back.

Friends and parental support is essential to his fu- ture in football and his aca- demic career. Thus, choosing his friends is done advertently.
Brown is described as well-mannered. He attrib-
utes this to his strong parental upbringing and support. With violence among teenagers on the rise, J. T. is confident he will not walk that path. He also be- lieves that sports plays a piv- otal role in violence prevention among teens.
In conclusion J. T. added, one of his goals is to give back to his community, by supporting orphans and creating possibilities that will encourage successful thinking.

Friends To Host First ‘All Walks Of Life’ Event

Two friends were talking and wondering how they could help to unite to the community. The conversation resulted in a social walk where everyone could come out, mingle, and just have a good time while doing some- thing healthy.
This Sunday, April 7th, Ms. Eboney De Costa and Robert Bailey will host the first “All Walks Of Life” event at Ben T. Davis Beach. The event will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Ms. De Costa said, “We decided to collaborate and do something that is free and open to the public. It’s just another way of giving back.
“Our goal is to encourage unity and healthy lifestyles in our community. We are invit- ing everyone to grab your kicks and your loved ones for some fresh air and a good walk.”
They will provide free water and fruit to the walkers and there is no charge to par-

A Tampa native, Ms. De Costa is a Real Estate Bro- ker, Realtor, and business owner. As an entrepreneur she said, “It is an honor to as- sist families to plant roots in my hometown and give back to my local community.”
Bailey is also a business owner of Big BS (Barbershop and Private Bike Shop). A family man, Bailey is now mentoring others after play- ing arena football for 8 years.
