Crime Police Search For Armed Murder Suspect
Police Conduct Death Investigation At Club
Detectives are currently searching for a man they have labeled “armed and danger- ous.” He is wanted in connec- tion with a shooting death that took place on New Year’s Eve.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Isaiah Lee Morrison was found inside a car at 13415 N. Nebraska Avenue. Morrison was suf- fering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Tampa General Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries. Initial reports stated that at the time Mor- rison was discovered, police said it appeared that he had been shot at a different loca- tion and the car had been abandoned at the scene.
During the investigation, detectives identified 26-year- old Joseph Ervin Brown, as the suspect in the murder. Brown is 5’5” tall and weighs 140 pounds.
An arrest warrant has been obtained for first-degree murder and possession of a firearm. Detectives said

Brown is considered armed and dangerous. They advise anyone who comes in contact with him to call 9-1-1 and not to approach him.

As of press time, a spokesperson for the Hills- borough County Medical Ex- aminer’s Office said a funeral home had not been assigned to handle arrangements.
Police are conducting an investigation into a death. The incident took place early Thursday morning.
Tampa Police officers were dispatched to Club Envy, 3447 W. Kennedy Blvd. When the officers arrived, they learned that an alterca- tion had taken place between the victim, identified as 32- year-old Edward Jerome Taylor and an unidentified suspect. Taylor was knocked
to the ground and sustained a serious injury. Taylor was transported to Tampa Gen- eral Hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Police said all parties in- volved were being inter- viewed by detectives.
A spokesperson for the Tampa Police Department said no charges had been filed at press time. However, the investigation is continu- ing.

Jumps From Car
$500,000 In Tequila Recovered After Truck Stolen
A 31-year-old woman was arrested New Year’s Eve after she reportedly admitted to telling a child to jump from a car. The incident took place on Franklin Road and North U. S. 301.
According to the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice, deputies responded to the location in reference to a suspicious vehicle call. When they arrived, they learned that a small child had jumped from the front pas- senger seat of a four-door Cadillac. The car was being driven by a relative of the child.
Fire Rescue responded to the scene and treated the 12- year-old girl for minor in- juries. Child Protection Investigators also responded to the scene and took cus- tody of the child.
After the child jumped, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Ms. Ashlee Yolanda Crawford, drove away, leaving the child be- hind.

Approximately an hour later, the vehicle was ob- served near 10905 Brigann Yard Way, in Thonotosassa. After being stopped, Ms. Crawford allegedly admit- ted she told the child to jump. She was arrested and charged with child neglect and driving with a sus- pended license.
Ms. Crawford was transported to the Hillsbor- ough County Jail. She re- mained in jail at press time with a bond set at $2,250.

Police have arrested four men and recovered more than a half million in stolen Tequila. The incident took place earlier this week.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, around 11 p.m., Sunday, a truck driver stopped for din- ner at the Tampa Truck Stop, 6503 N. U. S. Highway 301. While inside, he noticed that his trailer was no longer at- tached.

dent. Lemuel Escobar, 35, of Clermont; was arrested after he attempted to flee in front of 13910 McIntosh Road.

around 12:30 a.m. Deputies observed four men transfer- ring cases of Patron Tequila to another box truck that was registered to one of them.
Before the deputies moved in, the men had transferred more than 20 cases from the fully-loaded trailer. There were approximately 966 cases of the alcohol on the truck. It was valued at $507,105.
