MR. HENRY BEAMAN LONDY, JR.
Celebration of Life service for Mr. Henry Beaman Londy, Jr. will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 1 p. m. at Orange Hill Cemetery graveside, 4900 E. Chelsea St., Tampa, Florida 33610. Rev. Cameron Jones, offi- ciating.
Mr. Henry Beaman Londy, Jr. departed his life December 19, 2018, to awake in the pres- ence of God. Henry was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 2, 1963, to the proud parents of Henry B. Londy, Sr. and Mary E. Green Londy. Henry was a kind- hearted person who never met a stranger.
He relocated to Macon, Geor- gia with his mother in the 70s where he attended L. H. Williams Elementary and Northeast High School. He worked many years in the food industry. Desiring a change in his life, Henry moved to Tampa, Florida in 2000. He at- tended Hillsborough Community College.
Henry was preceded in death by: his parents, Henry B. Londy, Sr. and Mary E. Londy; sister, Sonda Londy Hunter; 2 brothers, Roland Londy and Anthony Hunter, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: precious jewels, daughter, Tishua Powell; 3 grandchildren, Jamie Wright, Jayda Smith, and Jacob Powell, of Warner Robins, Georgia; 11 sisters, Shirley Mays, Linda Godwin (Robert), Janice Green, Shirley Hollowman, Mel- lar Tutt, Rosalind Houer Blanchett (Waldo), Terri Mathis (Shannon), Myra Londy, Patricia Rice and Brandy Hill (Shawn); 3 brothers, Jackie Cain, Wayne Londy, and Mack Londy; a spe- cial nephew, Anthony Hunter, Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Der- rick Jackson, Judy Jackson, Lau- rie and Charles Allen.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan- uary 4, 2019, 6-7 p. m., at Jack- son Funeral Home, 4605 N. 34th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the Orange Hill Cemetery for the graveside serv- ice at 12:45 p. m.

A Homegoing Celebration, in loving memory of Mr. Marvin A. Robinson, will be held at 2 p. m., Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Light of The World Deliverance Church, 4701 N. 15th Street, Tampa, FL. Visitation will be at Gudes Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be private.

Accident
Dr. Beverly Dixon Wade, formerly of Tampa, FL, entered into eternal rest on Christmas Day, December 25, 2018 at the age of 77. She was the Dean Emerita of Southern University Honors College, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
She is survived by: her son, Carlton Spain; grand- children, Kaffia Johnson Arvie (Roger), and Car- men N. Spain and Bryan Spain, both of Houston, TX; sisters, Gwendolyn D. Howard, Charlene Jones (James), LuWanda Cro- martie, Carlotta Jones and Denise Snake (Archie); brother, Marvin Jones (Gwen); many rela- tives in the Plant City, Florida area, including cousin, Ken Glover, Esquire.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald Wade.
A 25-year-old Tampa woman died in a traffic acci- dent early Tuesday. The acci- dent took place on U. S. Highway 301, in Pasco County.
Timothy Hurtt, 32, of Zephyrhills was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi SUV. Ms. Destiny Grooms, of Tampa, was driving a 2011 Nissan Altima. Both drivers were traveling northbound on U. S. 301 shortly before 6:30 a.m.
As the vehicles ap- proached Chancey Road, Ms. Grooms was slowing to turn into the Zephyrhills Correc- tional Institution, 2739 Gail Blvd. Hurtt failed to slow and collided with the rear of Ms. Grooms’ vehicle.
Upon impact, Ms. Grooms’ vehicle was pro- pelled into the path of a 1995 Nissan Pickup truck driven by Adrian Vazquez Gon- zalez, 32, of Tampa. Her ve- hicle then overturned into the middle of the highway.
MS. DESTINY GROOMS Ms. Grooms was air-
lifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
Hurtt and his passenger, Willie Wiggs, 53, of Temple Terrace, were transported to Lakeland Regional Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.
Gonzalez was treated for minor injuries at Florida Hospital of Zephyrhills.
The investigation is con- tinuing and charges are pend- ing.

Funeral services and bur- ial were held Wednesday, January 2, 2019, in Baton Rouge.
Dr. Wade attended local schools in Tampa, including, Dunbar, Carver Jr. High and Blake High School. She fur- thered her education at Gibbs Jr. College, St. Petersburg, FL, Tuskegee Institute, Tuskegee, AL; and LSU, Baton Rouge, LA.
