MR. JESSIE L. DAVIS
A Graveside Celebration for Mr. Jessie L. Davis of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020, will be held Saturday, Septem- ber 19th, 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery, 4215 E. Hanna Ave., Min. Jacqueline Leeks, officiating. The inter- ment will follow.
On September 11, 2020, Mr. Jessie L. Davis departed this life to enter his Eternal Rest. He was born May 13, 1951 in Plant City, Florida Night Station to the parents of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin and Ruby Davis, Sr. He was the second oldest of his sib- lings.
He is predeceased by: his loving wife of 27 years, Mrs. Yvonne Louise Davis; both par- ents and his brother, Melvin Davis, Jr.
He is a product of the Hills- borough County School System. He was later employed with IMC Rainbow Division in Mul- berry, Florida for 30 years. When his health permitted, Jessie passionately loved work- ing on cars and with just as much passion, he lovingly en- joyed his family.
To cherish his memories he leaves: 4 daughters, Ashaquay Davis, of Tampa, Florida, Patri-
cia Davis (Terrance) of Lake- land, Florida, Quadeline Myers (Reginald) and Rhodda Dorsey (Marlon), both of Tampa, Florida; 2 sons, Jeffrey Woods Oates, Jr. (Shakina) and Nathaniel Woods (Tushae), both of Tampa, Florida; brothers, Joel Davis (Anita) of Thomasville, Georgia, Williams Davis (Sonya) of Tampa, Florida, Leroy Davis of Kissim- mee, Florida, Willie Davis (Mag- daline) and Joe Davis, both of Plant City, Florida; sisters, Juli- ette Shield of Leesburg, Florida, Shirley Hart (Elem), Vera Hugee and Rosemary Davis, all of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Marquay, Will, III, Keyshawn, Terion, Terrance, II, Marquita (Cedric), Robert (Alesha), Regi- nald, Cratiana, Isaiah, Marlon, Madison, Marcellous, Mar- queese, Marshanna, Shantera, Markeisha, Jalissa, Antonio, Destiny, Dinyla, Javon, London, Zarla and Johnathan Wilson; and over 30 years plus great- grands; a host of nieces, nephews, sorrowing relatives and friends; acknowledging his special friend, Ms. Patricia Lee and adopted daughter, Min. A. Faye Wingo. A “Special” heart- felt thank you to the Staff of Hudson Manor ALF; Aiesha Owens, India Jones, LaKay Hayes, Tangela Overstreet, Lashonda Gaines, Bionca Williams, Luvernia Edge and Charnae Webb. Thank you for the exceptionally great care you gave our Dad, for how you loved him as your own and for the many smiles you put on his face, we will forever remember your love and compassion.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Satur- day, September 19th from 10 to 11 a. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guide- lines.

MR. LARRY GENE GAY (‘POOCHIE’)
A Graveside Service celebrat- ing the life of Mr. Larry Gene Gay will be held on Saturday, Sep- tember 19, 2020, at 10 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue, Tampa, with Pastor Melvin Rhanes of Apply God’s Word, of- ficiating.
Larry Gene Gay, known to many as “Poochie,” was born September 14, 1957, in Doerun, Georgia to the late proud par- ents, Jessie D. Gay and Rosa Lee Gay. Poochie was educated in Worth County, Georgia.
In 1970 he located to Tampa where he began his life in Florida. For many years he was a roofer and from the years of 2000 through 2015, he was a warehouse supervisor for Lazy Days RV Super Center until he retired.
He was a blessing to all who knew him, especially his family. On September 7, 2020 he an- swered the call unto eternal rest.
He leaves to cherish fondest memories: his wife, Linda Gra- ham Gay; brothers, Willie C. Gay and Jerry G. Gay and wife, Linda; sons, Don and wife, Kia, Milton, Michael and Reginald; daughter, Jessica; grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Legend, LeniJa, Nevaeh and Eric; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2020, 6-8 p. m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa. Family and friends are requested to assem- ble at 9:45 a. m. on Saturday.

MRS. GENITA ‘VETA’ FREE
Homegoing Services for Mrs. Genita “Veta” Free of Tampa, who passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020, will be held on Saturday September 19, 2020 at 10 a. m., at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa, Florida 33602, Pastor, Benjamin Curry. Minster Erica Harrington, officiating. Inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, Florida 33610.
Mrs. Genita was born on December 25, 1955 in Sylvania, GA, to the late Elizah Covington and Georgia Covington (Jack).
On September 9, 2020, Genita was called home by God to join him in eternal life. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, where she graduated from Middleton High School. Thereafter, she enrolled in the U. S. Army and served her country for 2 years. After re- turning home she attended and graduated from Brewster Tech- nical College, obtaining a de- gree in Accounting. Genita worked as an accountant at the Hillsborough County District School Board until she retired in 1995.
Genita was preceded in death by: her loving father, Elizah Covington.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving mother, Georgia Covington (Jack); de- voted husband, William Free; a loving son, Samuel Bowers, Jr. (Nick); 3 grandchildren, Samuel Bowers, III, Elijawaun Bowers, and T’keyah Sneed, 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Will Covington (Twila); 4 sis- ters, Janet Streater, Georgia Streater (Tom), Sylvia Whitley, Evon Henry (Herbert); and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
The viewing will be held at Jackson Funeral Home, 4605 N. 34th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, Friday, September 18, 2020, from 5-8 p. m. The fam- ily will receive friends from 6-8 p. m.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 9:45 a. m. on Satur- day, September 19, 2020 for the service.

MR. RICKIE RICHARDO WILCHER ‘PRETTY RICKIE’
On September 9, 2020, our brother and friend, Rickie Richardo Wilcher, transitioned from earth to heaven.
Rickie Richardo Wilcher was born in Sanderville, Georgia on January 21, 1955. Rickie had a great love for God.
Rickie attended public school in Georgia and Florida.
Rickie lived a life of adven- ture and excitement. Rickey was a skilled mechanic, who enjoyed working on vehicles.
One of his favorite hobbies was riding a motorcycle. He was fun to be around, “people loved him.” Rickie spent the las5 few days of his life in peace.
Rickie was preceded in death by: his mother, Agnes Johnson, and brother, Larry Wilcher.
He will be loved and forever missed by: his brother, Danny (Sharon) Seabrooks Jackson, of Riverview, FL; sisters, La’Vy- onne Jackson-Culbreth (Adrian), of Tampa; Debra Jack- son, of Brandon, and Denise Johnson, (Pastor Leland John- son), of Tampa; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Rickie will be missed by his caretaker and special friends, Ronald and Marquita Killins; special friends, Ronnie and Teisha Johnson, other special friends, Mimi and the Copeland Family, Tony Henry, Darlene Lloyd, Tony Donaldson, Booda, Chi-Town, Ziggy, along with many others of Progress Village.
Memorial and viewing serv- ices will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, 1 p.m., at Loving Hill Primitive Baptist Church, 10040 Joe Ebert Road, Seffner, FL. Pastor Leland John- son will be officiating.
