Lil Wayne Stayed By Ex-Wife Toya’s Side Through Her Family Tragedy
Lil Wayne, Toya and their daughter Reginae.
Lil Wayne hasn't left the side of his ex-wife and daughter ever since tragedy struck the family.
Weezy jetted to Toya and Reginae - literally - after he heard the news of his first (and only) wife's brothers' deaths. Sources say that "Wayne was completely devastated over the death of his ex's brothers.’’
The funeral service for Rudy and Josh Johnson were held in New Orleans, LA a week ago, however, the Young Money mogul did not attend out of the respect for the family by not al- lowing the service to turn into a "media circus."
Lil Wayne is taking Rudy's death especially hard since Rudy used to live with Wayne.
Kid Cali Gunned Down At Pool Party
KID CALI
Desean Jackson’s Jaccpot-
affliated artist Kid Cali was shot and killed at a Granada Hills pool party Saturday (Au- gust 20) night at about 9pm. He was 28 and leaves behind a young daughter with one on the way.
Two others were also shot in the multi-million dollar neigh- borhood home and are expected to survive.
The Los Angeles Police De- partment is investigating the tragedy and are trying to figure out who owns the home. The party was allegedly held by Chris Brown‘s ex-OHB friend Kid Red, according to a flyer posted on Kid Cali’s Insta- gram.
The gunman allegedly shot the Los Angeles-based rapper six times, who quickly got away on foot after gunning him down. Kid Cali was taken to the Holy Cross Hospital by am- bulance after pool party guests called 911.

The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore has been can- celed by Comedy Central after a year and a half on the air. According to Deadline, the final show will air Thursday.
“I’m really grateful to Com- edy Central, Jon Stewart and our fans to have had this opportunity. But I’m also sad- dened and surprised we won’t be covering this crazy election
or ‘The Unblackening’ as we’ve coined it,” Wilmore said. “And keeping it 100, I guess I hadn’t counted on ‘The Unblackening’ happening to my time slot as well.”
It’s interesting that the net- work would actually cancel the show right at the crux of election season, it was said it had to do with contract re- newals.

Chris Brown won big in custody court against the mother of his two-year-old child Royalty, Nia Guzman.
The judge struck down every request Guzman initiated in- cluding granting her full cus- tody of Royalty, monitored visitation, her request to deny Chris‘ mom the right to see Royalty, as well as her request for the R&B singer to submit to drug testing.
The current joint custody agreement will remain in ef- fect. Brown will get his daugh- ter, unmonitored, for 12 days each month.
Nia will also have to pay back the $20,000 Chris gave her so she could afford a lawyer, which the judge granted to Chris as a credit.

Future is on the road with Drake for their “Summer Six- teen”, however he had time to do a interview while in Dallas. Future narrates what it means to be the rockstar known as “Future Hendrix,” and why he’s been able to churn out mixtape after album after mixtape consistently.
“I’ve been going to the studio every day for the last five years,” the “Low Life” rapper reveals. “Every day. People like, ‘Why you work so hard?’Because I know I’m going to be worth more than them at the end of the day. I might not be there now, but once my work catch up to my worth, I’m going to be a bil- lionaire.”

teenager. Once the 2011 hit single “Tony Montana” (fea- turing Drake) and YC’s Bill- board hit “Racks On Racks” smashed the airwaves, Fu- ture’s popularity skyrocketed.
So far, he’s released a total of 12 mixtapes and four studio albums with no apparent plans of slowing down.
Zendaya’s role in Spider- Man: Homecoming has been under wraps since she was an- nounced as part of the cast.
The Wrap reports that the actress will play the character Mary Jane Watson, literally the most important Spider- Man character that isn’t Peter Parker. Mary Jane’s history in the Marvel universe is al-
most as long as Spidey’s him- self. The character has been a friend, love interest and even a hero with powers in alternate versions of the comics.
Zendaya would be the very first black Mary Jane Wat- son in the history of Spider- Man. This is a huge progressive step forward for the Marvel Cinematic universe.
