Kings And Queens
If your Middleton High School graduating class (1936-2018) has not yet reg- istered your “Miss Middle- ton,” “Homecoming King and Queen” with the alumni asso- ciation, you still have some time to do so. The Middleton High School Alumni Associa- tion is still reaching out to those who wore the crown for their senior class to register for the April 26-27, 2019 Scholarship Ball.
The event will be part of Tiger Weekend at Tampa’s Marriott Hotel Westshore, 1001 N. Westshore Boule- vard.
The theme for the celebra- tion is “BRIDGING THE GAP: A ROYAL LEGACY.” Activities begin Friday, April 26, 6 p. m., with a casual Ma- roon and Gold Pool Party and Hospitality event.
The fun continues Satur- day, April 27, 6 p. m. with a formal reception, silent auc- tion, photos, promenade of Tiger Royalty, fashion show, dinner and dance. All hon- orees will receive a special gift from the alumni associa- tion. Prizes will be awarded to all members of the gradu- ating class with the most members in attendance at Saturday’s ball. All proceeds benefit students at George S. Middleton High School.
Shown here are past and current photos of Dr. Cyn- thia Owens K. Brown, who as Cynthia Owens was crowned “Miss Sophomore” (1961), “Miss Junior” (1962) and “Miss Middleton” (Class of 1963).
