Moving Into Your Future
Lord, I ask You to be in charge of my future. I don’t want to dream dreams if You are not in them. I don’t want to make plans that You will not bless. I don’t’ want to work hard trying to harvest something that will never bear fruit because I did not receive the seed from You. Help me not to waste valuable time getting off the path and having to come back to the same place again. I don’t want to get to the end of my life and re- gret the time I spent not living for You.
Mark the blameless man and observe the upright; for the future of that man is peace. PSALM 37:37
Lord, where I have made the mistake of doing what I want and then expecting You to bless it, forgive me. Instead I ask what You want me to do, knowing that when I do Your will, You will bless me. Enable me to hear Your voice and trust Your leading. I want it said of me when I leave this earth and go to be with You, that I walked with God. I want it said that Your glory was seen in my life. I trust my future to You, knowing You have it safely in Your hands.
Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold the dark- ness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the peo- ple; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. ISAIAH 60:1-2
Lord, I surrender my past, present, and future to You now. Help me not to be anxious about my future, but to rest in the knowledge that my future is secure in You. I want to keep one foot in eternity by never let- ting go of Your hand. I want to store up so many treas- urers in heaven that heaven will feel familiar the moment I arrive. And when I do take that final step into my eternal future with You, I trust that You will be there for me with all the light I need for that step, too.
There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. PROVERBS 23:18 NIV

After hearing the story about the residents of Flint, Michigan suffering from con- taminated water, Pastor Cornelius Hamilton and Evangelist Devlyn Hamil- ton decided they would launch a local drive to collect water.
Through their ministry, True Prosperity Evangelist Outreach, the Pastor and his wife want to send a million bottles of water to the resi- dents of Flint, Michigan.
“We’ve noticed in a lot of relief efforts, the help seldom reaches the people who need it, so instead of collecting the water and having someone else transport it to Michigan, we’re going to do it all our- selves.
“With the help of the Tampa Black Panther Party,
EVANGELIST DEVLYN HAMILTON
an agreement has been reached to have them trans- port the water to Michigan.”
True Prosperity, 8751 North 40th Street, will be a drop off point for anyone who wants to contribute water, and they want the people of Flint, Michigan to know this gift of love came from the people of Tampa.
“Our motto for this effort is “Florida For Flint,” said Evangelist Hamilton.
“We want to host an event predicated on the attendees
bringing in donations of water. Also in March (14-20) we want to host another event to raise water for the people of Flint. Watching the news, it’s easy to see who is being im- pacted by this disaster, and seeing the city in crisis beck- oned for us to take some kind of action.”
Spirit FM, and another ministry, Greater Holy Tem- ple COGIC Ministries in Flint, are partnering with True Pros- perity, and Yvette Martin is the contact person. She can be reached at (813) 962-1430.
“We want to show the peo- ple of Flint the love of Christ,” said Pastor Hamilton.
The water drive will begin Sunday, March 13th from 12 p.m. to 6 p. m. at Temple Crest Park, 8116 North 37th Street. The community is welcome to come out and enjoy music, vendors, food and activities for a great cause.
