But while the video of the dunk against the Houston Rockets looks great from any angle, the best one was cap- tured by photographer An- drew D. Bernstein.

Finally we have news on when the public memorial for Kobe Bryant will be held. Monday, February 24 is the date and the location is Sta- ples Center in Downtown Los Angeles.
The memorial will honor Bryant and eight others who were killed last month in a helicopter crash, two sources familiar with the event in- formed the LA Times on Thursday.
The event will cap weeks of tributes across the city fol- lowing the Jan. 26 crash that killed the Lakers icon, his 13- year-old daughter, Gianna, as well as parents, coaches and players on Bryant’s Mamba Academy basketball team.
In the aftermath of the crash, fans and the public at

large gathered at L.A. Live and Staples Center — where the Lakers star player became a basketball legend — to grieve. On top of that, fans from around the world have also trekked to the crash site in Calabasas to pay their re- spects. On Friday (01-31-20) before a game against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Lakers put on an emotional tribute at Staples Center led by LeBron James.
Nearly eight months after his last NBA game, the decid- ing Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, Andre Iguodala made his 2019-20 debut Sun- day against the Portland Trail Blazers -- three days after the Miami Heat acquired him in a deadline-day trade with the Memphis Grizzlies, who had agreed to not have Iguodala join the team this season, pending a deal.
After checking in late in the first quarter, Iguodala played 23 minutes, including the en- tire fourth quarter of Miami's

115-109 loss. He scored just two points on 1-of-2 shooting but had six rebounds and three assists. The Heat outscored the Blazers by 10 points with Iguodala on the court.
Redskins To Hire First Black Female Assistant Coach In NFL History
The Washington Redskins could be making history in the NFL, as a report has sur- faced that they plan to hire Jennifer King to the coach- ing staff. King, who worked as a coaching intern under Ron Rivera in 2017 with the Carolina Panthers, would be the first full-time African American female coach in the league, and the fourth woman overall.
King will reportedly be joining the Redskins coaching staff this year after spending 2019 as an offensive assistant with Dartmouth College.
King’s first chance to coach at the NFL level came during the 2017 Pro Bowl, when Rivera, the Carolina Panthers coach, met her and brought her on as a coaching

Hines Ward, head of football development for the Alliance of American Foot- ball, brought her to the Ari- zona Hotshots as the assistant wide receivers coach. She was the third fe- male coach in the league and the only one on the offense.
