14 Unsolved Homicides Keep Law Enforcement Busy
First Friday’s Fugitives
Crime Stoppers is high- lighting five fugitives as part of their “First Friday Fugitives Initiative.” They are asking the public for help in getting them into custody.
The fugitives are: Vincent Leonard Gaddy, 26; Yanela Campillo Hernan- dez, 34; Paris Demon Jack- son, Jr., 20; Derius Antwen Love, 24, and Ronald Wayne Treesh, Sr., 54.

Local law enforcement has been working diligently to lo- cate and arrest suspects in 14 unsolved homicides.
Beginning in January, Reginald Brown, 36, was found dead inside his resi- dence in Plant City.
In February, there are seven homicides, with four re- maining unsolved.
Of the four unsolved, two were Marvin Douglass Lan- caster, III, 21, and Christo- pher Houston, 20. Both were gunned down February 6th at Club Rayne on North Ne- braska Avenue.

rance Roach, Jr., 27, and Manuel Ortiz, Jr., 28.
In March, there are two un- solved homicides.
On March 2nd, Jarmaal Rumlin, 27, was found shot to death, and on March 7th, Jamil Marquis Collier, 22, was shot to death at the Gar- dens At Southbay Apartments on South Lois Avenue.
In April, Pablo Bautista, 49, was found shot to death in- side a car, and Kagan Dane McFarland, 31, was found in the parking lot of a Coca Cola Business. James Simmons, Jr., 48, was found dead inside a home on Curtis Street.

In May, Saadyar Roice Johnson, 36, was murdered. In June, Adebawale
Adeniyi, 21, and Rakeem Robinson, 22, were found shot to death, one inside a car and the other in a parking lot.
Also in June, Elvin Joseph, 43, was shot in the head after leaving King’s Gro- cery Store on North 22nd Street in East Tampa.
The shooting occurred close to noon, and although there were several witnesses, no arrest has been made.
Joseph is still hospitalized and reported to be in serious condition.

Police Arrest Man For Stealing Thousands From Parking Meters
A contractor who was hired to collect parking meter fees for the City was arrested Thursday after he was accused of stealing more than $4,000 of that money.
Ruben Andino-Car- dona, 32, is facing charges of grand theft and organized fraud. Police said he had been collecting the money over the last several weeks from kiosks in the city parking garages.

June after noticing a pattern of thefts totaling more than
$2,000 from the City’s kiosks. A plan was formulated to mark bills in kiosks and keep watch over who collected the money.
After interviewing contrac- tors, detectives searched Andino-Cardona, and found he had the missing cur- rency.
Andino-Cardona, an Eagle Security Contractor, was released Thursday after post- ing $4,000 bond.
The investigation is contin- uing.
Police Investigating Shooting, Death
Plant City Police are investigating the death of a man and the shooting of another man Saturday night.
Officers received a 9-1-1 call at 9:47 p.m. about a man who was injured and bleeding in the road. When police arrived they found the man lying in the road near East Warren Street. He died at the scene.
Less than 10 minutes later, police received another 9-1-1 call. This one came from a man who was nearby and told police he had been shot. Plant City Fire Rescue transported the man to an area hos- pital. He had at least one injury to the abdomen, police said.
Police have not released the identity of either victim.
The investigation is continuing, and anyone with information is asked to call (813) 757-9200.
