MR. WILLIE ‘POP’ KNIGHTON, SR.
Homegoing Services for Mr. Willie “Pop” Knighton, Sr., who passed away on November 5, 2018, will be held Saturday, No- vember 17, 2018, at 11 A. M., at Mt. Sinai AME Zion Church, 2909 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33602, Reverend Lillian Zakay Pastor; Minister Ebou Howard, officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemeteery.
Mr. Willie Pop Knighton, Sr. was born October 16, 1953 to Mr. Alex Knighton and Mrs. Dorothy Pittman Knighton. He was a member of the graduating class of Howard W. Blake, Class of 1971. He attended Hillsborough Com- munity College.
Willie united with Bertha F. Knighton January 29, 1984. He was an Honorably Discharged veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Knighton’s work experi- ence included: U. S. Army, V. A. Hospital - James Alvin Haley, Su- pervisor with Waste Manage- ment, HARTline Driver. He loved music and became known by his D J persona: “One Time.”
He was preceded in death by: his father, Mr. Alex Knighton, Jr., and Mr. Alex Knighton, III.
He leaves to cherish loving memories of him to: his devoted mother, Dorothy Lee Knighton; 4 devoted children: Shamika Knighton, Torrence Knighton (Lameka), Willie Knighton, Jr., Lashawndra Knighton; godson, Eric Hayes; companion, Ms. Quen Atherly; 3 fraternal children: Tereza, Antonio, Orlando; 34 grandchildren; 1 great-grand; 1 nephew, Alex Knighton the 4th; loving aunt, Mildred Johnson; loving uncle, John Pittman; and a host of cousins and family and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Willie “Pop” Knighton, Sr. will be held this Fri- day evening from 5 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, Fl 33610. The Family Hour is from 7 p. m. until 8 p. m. Friends are in- vited to share in the memories at the Wake.
The processional will arrange at the church on Saturday at 10:45

MR. JAMES A. DAVIS, SR.
A visitation for Mr. James A. Davis, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, No- vember 9, 2018, will be held Sat- urday, November 17th, from 3 to 5 p. m. at Greater Friendship M. B. Church, 3325 E. Emma Street.
James was born December 3, 1948 in Vero Beach, Florida. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Margaret Thomas Davis; father, Alphonso Davis, Sr.; Georgia Mae Davis, Marthaniel Leeth and Nobie Lee Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his chil- dren, Monica Davis Bruton (Alphonso), Sonia Davis John- son, James A. Davis, Jr. (Kassie), Kevin Davis, Benson Thomas (Armanda), Jamie Jones and Sparkle Smith (Maurice); grand- children, Lashika Bruton, Alphonso A. MRS. WILLIE NELL GRAY ‘NELL’
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Willie Nell Gray of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, will be held on Saturday, November 17th, 11 a. m. at New Salem P. B. Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Av- enue, Elder Dr. Benjamin M. Curry, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Willie Nell Gray was affec- tionately known as “Nell” by her family and friend. She was born on February 4, 1936 in Jackson County, Florida, to the late Lu- cious Dudley and Willie B. Brock. Nell graduated from Mid- dleton High School and retired from Aramark Linen Company.
She was a faithful member of Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church and served on the senior usher board. Willie enjoyed traveling, spending time with family; watching classic T. V. shows and going to church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lucious Dudley and Willie B. Brock; husband, Alto Gray; son, Leonard “Chicken” Larry; brothers, FredLee Dudley, Jewel Dudley, William Dudley, Robert Britt and Marshall McKennie; sisters, Ethel Oliver, Archie Mae Wright and Sellie Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory with: a loving nephew, Frederick Porter; grandson, LaVaris Larry (Nidta Mazard); granddaughter, Delphina Larry (Thaddeus Bowers); great- grandchildren, Jaylah Whit- taker, Richard and Monica Ousley, Jasmine Mazard-Larry, Thaddeus and Trinity Bowers; brothers, James Brock and Alphonso Brock (Linda); sisters, Maeonia Taylor, Ellawese Col- ston, Vornice Spires of Cotton- dale, FL; Clevenell Cotton (Joe) of Marianna, FL, Annie Belle Sorey of Campbellton, FL; god- daughters, Josephine Everette and Sharon Haywood; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends and neighbors of Northview Hills Subdivision.

A Homegoing Service for Mr. LeeAndrew Thompson “Wynn- Wynn” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, Novem- ber 5, 2018, will be held on Sat- urday, November 17th, 2 p. m., at The Center For Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Ave., Apostle Mark T. Jones, pastor; Pastor Charles Patrick, eulogist, with Pastor Howard Green of Turning Point Fellowship Ministries, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
LeeAndrew was born March 22, 1955 in Tampa, Florida. He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. He at- tended Christ Life Ministries and enjoyed watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherlene Thompson; brother, Darnell Thompson and niece, Renee Thompson Patton.
