MR. BENJAMIN WALTER ‘NEW YORK’ HOPE, SR.
Homegoing Service for Mr. Benjamin Walter Hope, Sr. “New York,” will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 2 p. m. at College Hill Church of God In Christ, 6414 N. 30th Street, Tampa, Superintendent Charles Davis, Pastor with Rev. W. D. Sims, officiating.
Mr. Hope was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy L. Hope; brother, Christopher Hope; sister, Arletha Cheesebor- ough; niece, Sarita Cuffe and grandchild, Alexander Harris, Jr.
He is survived by: wife, An- gela M. Hope; sons, Benjamin Hope, Jr., Eric Cook and Chad Latter; daughters, Jasmine Cook and Dominique Clark; grandchil- dren, Alexes Harris and Ava Har- ris; brothers, Darrell Hayes, Eric House and Armond Brown; sis- ter, Regina Hope and Sabrina Cuffe (Ron); nephews, Amiri Hope, Douglas Cook, Jr., Steven Harris, Jr., Alexander Cox, Anto- nio Williams, Reginald Mathis, Jr., Christopher Hope, Jr., Damarco Hammond, Nasir Hope, Alexander Harris, D- Brown, Alan-Michael Mathis; nieces, Shanquita Harris, Fendi Hope, Miracle Cheesborough, Demi Hammond and Lawanda Cook; brothers-in-law, Douglas Cook, Sr. and Reginald Mathis, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Brenda Cook, Lyla Harris (Willie) and Sharon Cook; mother-in-law, Betty J. Bradley; father-in-law, Theodore Bradley; special friends, Tim Nash, James Burton, Reginald Jones and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Benjamin Walter Hope, Sr. was born on October 20, 1961 in Catskill, New York. He was ed- ucated in the public schools of Catskill, New York.
Mr. Hope was employed as a Forklift Operator for a local Dairy Company. He loved his family and loved the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
There will be a viewing on Friday November 16, 2018 from 5 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home.

MRS. ROSBY DEAN McCASKILL
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Rosby Dean McCaskill will be held on Saturday November 17, 2018 at 11 a. m. at Allen Tem- ple A. M. E. Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Dr. Glenn B. Dames, Sr., Senior Pastor, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Rosby Dean McCaskill was born on September 14, 1932 in Americus, Georgia to Henry Ladd and Jimmie Lee Wright. She moved to Tampa at an early age with her mother and sister, Julia. She attended the schools of Hillsborough County.
She later met and married Charles McCaskill, Sr., who pre- ceded her in death. From their union came 6 children; 4 of which preceded her in death; Voncile, Curt, Charles and Jimmy.
Mrs. McCaskill was a long- time member of Allen Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church for over 40 years. She served faithfully as a Mission- ary, member of the Mass Choir (now, Voices of Allen), Trustee Board Member, Silent Workers and many other areas of min- istry until failing health pre- vented her from serving.
She was well known for her cakes and pies; she was a won- derful cook and enjoyed sharing with family and friends. She was an educator in the Hillsborough Public Schools System for 30 years. She retired in 2000. On Tuesday, November 5, 2018, Mrs. McCaskill departed from this earthly life.
Our great loss is mourned by: her loving son, Gary Mc- Caskill and daughter, Vernita McCaskill; grandchildren, Kella, Tavares, Javen, Jamari, Nyanna and Kirsten McCaskill; mother- in law, Voncile A. Dry; cousins, Owen and Joyce Harris of Bran- don, FL, Inesta (Otis) Davis, Jewell (Billy) Christmas, Rose Dorn, Nathan Singletary, Na- dine Singletary, all of Tampa. Linda Patterson of Detroit, MI, Eddie Hayes of Hollywood, CA Mary Joyce Dennis, Betty (Wad- dell) Johnson, all of Rochester, NY, Bernice James Sharpe of Americus, Georgia, David and Barbara Hicks of Tampa, Florida; the Young family of Pensacola, FL; life-long friends, Margaret McQuay, Betty De- Vore, Sharon Gordon; god- daughter, Courtney Greene and a host of other loved ones and friends.
