Driver Arrested
Police Identify Murder Victim
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of a woman found dead in a home.
According to police, offi- cers responded to 3024 W. Patterson Street, in response to a 9-1-1 call. When officers arrived, they discovered the body of a woman inside the home.
The victim has been iden- tified as Ms. Micheline G. Messersmith, 58, of Tampa, and her death has been classi- fied as a murder.

Man Charged With Having Sex With Minor
   After Leading
Police arrested a 19-year- old man and charged him with having a sexual relation- ship with an underage girl.
According to police,
Nicholas Tyler Blanchard
was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct. He report- edly admitted to knowing the victim was 15-years-old.
Police said the two had consensual sex beginning on November 1, 2018 and it con- tinued until November 12, 2018. He was arrested on
 Police On Chase
Deputies with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice were in an unmarked car in East Tampa, Wednesday when they heard gunfire. They also observed a vehicle speeding away from the scene.
The deputies contacted Tampa Police and officers re- sponded to the area. When of- ficers arrived in the area of E. 24th Avenue and N. 15th Street, assisted by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, offi- cers attempted to stop the black Toyota Avalon, believed to be involved in the incident.
However, the driver later identified as 31-year-old Reginald Mosley, of Tampa, allegedly sped away. Police initiated a brief pur- suit. The pursuit ended at the intersection of N. 50th Street and E. Columbus Drive, when the vehicle sideswiped a car before running into a pole.
The two men in the car, fled from the scene on foot. Mosley reportedly at- tempted to carjack another vehicle. Mosley was quickly taken into custody. However, the unidentified passenger fled the scene on foot and re- mains at large.

Police said the suspects
are believed to have been in- volved in a drive-by shooting. The investigation is continu- ing. Police said no shots were fired by law enforcement.
No individuals in the area where the shots were fired have come forward. Mosley suffered an injury to his foot, which was possibly a self-in- flicted gunshot wound.
Mosley was transported to a local hospital for treat- ment before being booked into the Hillsborough County Jail.
Mosley was charged with fleeing and attempting to elude police, driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, attempted carjack- ing, battery and violation of probation.
Two Charged With Sexual Activity With A Child
      A Hillsborough County Sch0ol teacher was arrested Wednesday by deputies. He was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct and un- lawful use of a two-way com- munication device.
According to police, Jason Osborne, of Apollo Beach, is a teacher at Ferrell Middle Magnet School. He is accused of privately commu- nicating with a 14-year-ol stu- dent using a social media app.
Police said he established a romantic relationship with the victim and met with her on one occasion. Detectives made contact with Osborne

Wednesday after learning about the incident. He was taken into custody and charged.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, two men were arrested and charged with having sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl.
Police said Jarkarius Ellis, 18, and 19-year-iold Ricky Farrow invited the victim to hang out and smoke marijuana with them at Far- row’s home.

Scheme

A 39-year-old man was sentenced to prison for his role in a telemarketing scheme. He had pleaded guilty June 20, 2018.
Naif Wedad Nazer, of Laguna Niguel, CA, was sen- tenced to two years and six months in federal prison for conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.
The Court also ordered Nazer to forfeit $811,162.06, the proceeds of the offense.
According to court docu- ments, between 2011 and 2015, Nazer founded and op- erated a series of 10 different businesses, each of which en- gaged in cold-calling time- share owners across the United States and fraudu- lently inducing them to pay advance fees for services that the businesses never intended to render.
Nazer and others that he recruited for this scheme, made a series of false claims to victims, including that Nazer’s businesses: would help the owner market his or her timeshare; had identified buyers to purchase the time- share; would facilitate the sale of the timeshare; and would refund the advance fee within a prescribed time period if the timeshare sale did not go through.
Victims of this fraud con- spiracy were located through- out the United States.
