Overnight Accident
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigat- ing an overnight crash in Brandon, in which one per- son remains in critical condi- tion at a local hospital. `At 11:57 p. m. on November 27, 2021, HCSO responded to a crash involving three differ- ent vehicles near the inter- section of S. Kings Avenue and Oakfield Drive in Bran- don.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives de- termined that the suspect, 22-year-old Alexander Glaubius, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado south- bound on S. Kings Avenue at a high rate of speed as he ap- proached a red light.
The unidentified victim, driving a Volkswagen Pas- sat, was traveling east on Oakfield Drive and was mak- ing a left turn on a green arrow to go north on S. Kings Avenue. Another driver, in a Mazda Mazdaspeed 3, was traveling west on Oakfield Drive, making a left turn on a green arrow to go south on S. Kings Avenue.
As both the Volkswagen

After the initial crash, Glaubius continued driving southbound when he struck the Mazda, too. The driver of that vehicle was uninjured in the crash.
Glaubius was trans- ported to the hospital. Im- pairment and speed are believed to be factors in the crash. Charges related to the crash are pending further in- vestigation.

Last Tuesday, five people were taken into custody dur- ing a drug trafficking investi- gation that began in October. The investigation was con- ducted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA).
Detectives began their in- vestigation after learning that large amounts of narcotics were being sold out of a resi- dence located at 206 Col- orado Avenue in Lakeland.
During the investigation, undercover deputies identi- fied 55-year-old Lisa Rad- ina, of Lakeland, as a local drug dealer/trafficker selling methamphetamine, heroine, and fentanyl. During their in- teraction, Radina asked an undercover detective to drive her to her supplier’s home at 206 Colorado Avenue in order to pick up around 7- grams of fentanyl. That’s when detectives learned Radina’s supplier was 41- year-old Nareo Lewis, of Lakeland.
On November 23rd detec- tives obtained a search war- rant for Lewis’ residence and arrested Radina, who at the time of the arrest possessed 12-grams of fentanyl.
