Appreciation Banquet Honors A Great Olympic Gold Medalist, 90
Approaching 90 years young, Ms. Theresa Manuel can’t dance like she used to, but her mind is still as sharp as ever, and her spirit remains unchanged. In honor of Ms. Manuel the woman and Olympic gold medalist, family and friends attended a banquet in her honor.
The accolades never stopped coming, and organizer Cynthia Flowers said it best: “Pay them respect and honor while they are still alive to appreciate it.” That’s what Ms. Flowers wanted for Ms. Manuel, and her wish was granted. (PHOTOS BY BRUNSON)
