   Veteran players are start- ing to hit the market as teams begin to clear cap space and cut some big names.
The Baltimore Ravens are the latest, reportedly inform- ing wide receiver Michael Crabtree of his release.
Crabtree spent his first and apparently only season in Baltimore in 2018. He was targeted 100 times, catching 54 passes for 607 yards and
three touchdowns. In terms of yardage, he was the team’s third-leading receiver last year.
Crabtree, who turns 32 in September, will hit the open market once again. He had two years remaining on the three-year, $21 million deal he signed with Baltimore last March, and the Ravens will clear about $4.6 million in cap space by releasing him now.

Randy Gregory of the Dallas Cowboys has been sus- pended indefinitely for vio- lating the Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse and the terms of his conditional reinstatement.
Gregory, 26, fell in the 2015 NFL draft due to a failed drug test and has had issues with substance abuse ever since. He was suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season for violating the policy and later was sus-
